Our Destiny...Hidden in the Rock

Key Points:
  • The key question for the people is who is on YHWH’s side...in YHWH’s side
  • Moses (Yeshua) removes His tent from inside the camp and those who seek Him must do so outside the camp, just as Yeshua was killed outside the city and we must bear the shame and meet Him there
  • Moses pleads for YHWH to show him His Glory, yet YHWH says no man can see His face and live
  • YHWH places Moses (the believer) in the "place" of the rock, the cleft of the rock, side of the rock, the place where YHWH’s name resides
  • YHWH determined that there would be a specific place for His name, the place in the rock, this is the rock that the assemblies of Israel are built upon, the Bread of Heaven, Yeshua
  • YHWH places His hand (Yeshua-the right arm of YHWH, the flesh of YHWH) over Moses as He passes before him
  • Moses is hidden in the rock of our salvation, Yeshua's side, and the flesh is closed up, as when Adam has Eve grafted from His side
  • YHWH introduces “the Lord” (Yeshua) to Moses in the cloud
  • Moses is already in YHWH's Presence, feels the need to worship “the Lord” Yeshua who he has just been introduced to
  • Moses pleads that the Lord Yeshua would go before the people (first of the firstfruits), be among the people and bring them into the Land
  • Moses is both a prophetic type of Yeshua and the grafted in Believer in Yeshua
  • Moses (Yeshua/the believer) enters the Shekinah glory with the tablets he brought with him and receives the image of YHWH
  • Moses (prophetic of Yeshua/the believer) doesn't realize it but his countenance is changed and his flesh glows
  • Moses (Yeshua) comes down and the people are afraid of him and leave. He calls to them and they return to him
  • Moses (Yeshua) keeps a cloth over his face because he continues to have light come from his face.  He only takes the cloth off in YHWH's presence
  • This is a type of our resurrection, we come with our hearts prepared for His image and come out with redeemed flesh.
Yeshua is the Glory of YHWH and goes before the people (first of the firstfruits)
  • When we sin, we fall short of the Glory (the Image) of YHWH, Yeshua
  • Yeshua enters the Shekinah (the cloud) at His ascension and will return the same way
  • We are to meet Yeshua in the air (in the cloud)-the Shekinah Glory- where we will receive His image and our flesh will be made incorruptible

Yeshua is at the door knocking....who will answer?

Luke 13:24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:26Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Revelation 3:As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Moses (Yeshua) is standing at the door to the camp knocking.  He is waiting to see who is on YHWH’s side.  Those at are on His side need to gather to Him.

Exodus 32:Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Exodus 33:And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

After the sin of the Golden Calf Moses removes the tabernacle from inside the camp and those who seek YHWH must do so outside the camp, just as Yeshua was killed outside the city and we must bear the shame and meet Him there.  The true image of YHWH cannot reside where a false image dwells.

Exodus 33:And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.10And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

Moses is enquiring about YHWH’s earlier promise to send one to go before the people into the land.

Exodus 33:13Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

The only way to know YHWH and have grace is through His way (Yeshua).  That is how we become His people.

Exodus 33:And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

There is no other way.  We need YHWH’s presence to go with us if we are to have found grace in His sight.

Exodus 33:17And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

He then knows us by name.

Exodus 33:And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

YHWH says He will show Moses all His goodness (Yeshua) to pass before him and YHWH Himself will declare the name of the YHWH to Moses.  How astounding!  YHWH is declaring to Moses the name of YHWH and having Him pass before Him.  It is by His name that YHWH knows us and we have grace in His sight.

Exodus 33:And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

This is the place where YHWH had determined to place His name:  Yeshua!

Deuteronomy 12:10But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;11Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

If YHWH’s name dwells upon us, He knows us!

Exodus 33:And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

YHWH hides Moses in the cleft of the rock while His Glory, Yeshua, passes by.  YHWH hides Moses in the Rock of Salvation and covers him with His right Hand and Holy Arm, Yeshua, the flesh of our salvation.  YHWH’s hand covers Moses while He passes by.

Song of Solomon 2:13The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.14O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Genesis 28:11And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

What a clear connection.  This stone, this ladder, is Yeshua, the proclamation of YHWH-Our means back to Heaven, the Garden, the original state.

Exodus 15:The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.6Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.7And in the greatness

The last enemy destroyed is death.

I Corinthians 15:For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

Psalm 78:53And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.55He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

Psalm 98:O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.2The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Matthew 16:He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

It is the rock that Moses was hidden in that YHWH will build His church.  The rock is the flesh of Yeshua, the Right Hand of YHWH that covered Moses when YHWH passed by.  It took YHWH proclaiming the name for Moses and Peter to see their salvation, their grace, the true image of YHWH, the name that would prove they had YHWH’s grace, presence, and forgiveness.

Now after Yeshua’s saving flesh and name are applied to our lives we are to bring our hearts, tablets we fashion, up to the mountain to receive the true image of YHWH.

Notice that the final saving act is done by an incision into Yeshua’s side on the tree!  His rib is exposed just as Adam’s side is cut open and a rib is taken out to graft Eve from, then the flesh is closed up again.

Genesis 2:21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

This same act happens to Yeshua!

John 19:32Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.35And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Here Yeshua is in a deep sleep.  He is dead and His side is opened that the blood of the covenant and the living waters that we may drink of and never be thirsty again can come out to produce life in us.  We are grafted from His side just as Eve was grafted from Adam’s side.  We must be hidden in the Rock of our Salvation, grafted into Yeshua, take His name upon us so that we might live in YHWH’s presence.

Exodus 34:And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.3And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

Moses is going up to meet YHWH.  After the first covenant is broken, after YHWH passes by as Moses is hidden in the cleft of the rock, after he brings two tablets hewn with his own hand, he now must be ready to ascend the Mountain of YHWH in the morning with prepared stones (heart in hand).

Exodus 34:5And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

Let’s not miss these critical points!  YHWH descends in the cloud, the Shekinah, and stands with Moses.  Then YHWH proceeds to proclaim the “name of the Lord/YHWH”, the one by which we know we have grace with YHWH.  The name which saves us.  This is the true image of YHWH that is providing the reconciliation for Israel to go up to the Land.  The very one that Moses says, “don’t send us up to the Land if you won’t send Him with us”.  Notice the declarations of mercy and forgiveness from YHWH’s own mouth that accompany the name of the Lord (YHWH) that YHWH Himself is proclaiming!  Here Moses has been standing with YHWH, now and before, talking with Him as a friend does face to face.  Now when YHWH makes the proclamation of the name of the Lord (YHWH) he feels an URGENCY to worship-why didn’t he have that urgency earlier when talking with YHWH?  Who is he worshipping?  The name of the Lord (YHWH)(Yeshua).  He now knows he has found grace in YHWH’s sight and he pleads for YHWH to “let my Lord (Yeshua) go among us”.  Amazing.  The sin of the golden calf and has been forgiven by Yeshua.

This is the same proclamation (Word) from the Gospel of John-The light of the world.

John 1:In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2The same was in the beginning with God.3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Yeshua, the Word of YHWH, is the true image of YHWH, the only one we can make covenant with and live!

Exodus 34:And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.11Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.12Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;

We are warned not to make the same mistake twice.  No more false images.  The true image of YHWH will do a marvelous work!  The words on the new tablets are the same as the words on the first tablets.  The rest of Exodus 34 reminds them how to worship correctly with the true image of YHWH-not by sexual religious observance, but by YHWH”s Holy Days, the picture of YHWH coming to dwell among His people.

Exodus 34:28And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

Moses didn’t need to eat, he was feasting on the living waters and the bread of heaven, the Image of YHWH.

Exodus 34:29And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

Moses didn’t realize that his flesh had been changed and had taken on the image of YHWH.  Yeshua also entered the Shekinah after His resurrection and went up to Heaven in the Shekinah.  He will return the same way.

Acts 1:But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

In fact we are to meet Him in the Shekinah, where our image will be changed forever!  Moses is not only a prophetic type of Yeshua, but also a prophetic type of believers hidden in the Rock of Salvation.

I Thessalonians 4:For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Exodus 34:30And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.

The people are afraid because they see Moses’ face is shinning.  They are afraid to approach him and only do so when Moses calls them.  He then speaks with them.   All of this is an exact pattern of what will occur at Yeshua’s first and second coming!  Notice what Moses sets about doing after the glorification of His flesh.  He begins to make a Tabernacle in which YHWH can dwell among His people.

Exodus 34:32And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.33And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.34But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.35And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

Notice all of Israel will see Moses’ (Yeshua’s) incorruptible flesh, it will shine like the sun.  He will give all of Israel the commandment of YHWH spoken at Mt. Sinai.

Revelation 1:And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Exodus 35 then commences with the building of the tabernacle for YHWH to dwell among His people.  Reconciliation has been made, the image has been restored, all the heathen will know that YHWH dwells among Israel .  A wonderful and terrible thing!

Peter has the same reaction after seeing Yeshua’s flesh glorified as Moses did.  It’s time to build a tabernacle!

Matthew 17:1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."5While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"6When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid." 8When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

Peter sets about trying to build a tabernacle in which the glorified word of YHWH can dwell among His people.  Yeshua’s flesh and garments become white as light and the Shekinah appears on the mountain.  Peter doesn’t understand that there is need for only one tabernacle, for the true proclamation of YHWH, the true seed/son/flesh of YHWH, the true image of YHWH, is Yeshua.  “Listen to Him.”  YHWH’s voice is proclaiming Yeshua to the world.  They have the same reaction as Moses, they urgently fall down and worship.

The true tabernacle in which Yeshua will reside is a living tabernacle.  The very next thing Yeshua does after His transfiguration is start the process of building a living tabernacle.  To do this He must first die and then be glorified (first of the firstfruits)!  Before the Tabernacle/Body of Israel can be glorified the Spirit of Restoration must first come.

II Corinthians 6:And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

I Peter 2:If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.4To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Let us be careful not to fall short!  Yeshua YHWH wants to tabernacle with us!

Romans 3:20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

This scripture should be so much more meaningful to us.  No deed can justify us.  It is only by the righteousness of YHWH (the image of YHWH) being manifest to us, through faith in His name, believing on His work.  We are justified freely and with abundant grace through the redemptive work of Yeshua.  This reconciliation is through His blood, His seed, His image, and through that mercy we are forgiven.  It is by His image, His righteousness, His flesh, His name that we are hidden in the Rock of Salvation and made alive.  Truly, Yeshua is the Word of YHWH proclaimed by His very own mouth.  Worship Yeshua YHWH that He may dwell among us and go before us and lead us into the Land.

Revelation 22:And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Even John thought one of his glorified fellow servants was Yeshua.  He bowed down to worship.  He is then corrected for mistakenly worshipping one of his glorified brethren.

I John 3:1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Our flesh will be glorified just like Yeshua.  We will be just as Yeshua is!  We are exhorted to worship YHWH and follow His torah and be righteous.  This gives us access to the Tree of Life and entrance to YHWH’s tabernacle, the New Jerusalem.  We gain access to that living temple through the grace of Yeshua the Word (Proclamation of YHWH).  The Shekinah appears again after Yeshua ascends into it and into Heaven.

Acts 2:And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Here at the first Pentecost (Shavout) the Apostles have the fulfillment of Yeshua’s promise of the coming of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).  The Shekinah sits on each of the apostles as they start the gathering of dispersed Israel.  Just as the image of YHWH rested upon Moses, we also have access to that image and should conform to it.  His presence is visibly shown to the people through tongues of cloven fire (Shekinah) dwelling on each of them, just the same as the Shekinah descended upon the tabernacle.

Exodus 34:And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

This is exactly what is happening in Acts 2.  The apostles are declaring the name of YHWH, Yeshua, under the inspiration of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).  They are exhibiting the image of YHWH.

Romans 8:And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

The apostles’ work may also tell us about the work of the 144,000-The ones sealed by the Word of YHWH, Yeshua!

Revelation 8:3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.5Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 14:1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

The 144,000 are the Bride of Yeshua who sit on His throne and rule with Him.

Revelation 22:1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

The 144,000 have the image of YHWH, Yeshua.  They are the New Jerusalem, they reign with Yeshua and are His bride.  They are Living stones having the glory and the image of YHWH!  They have been sealed by the name of Yeshua YHWH!.  The living tabernacle, the living temple, the living
