The Scarlet Thread and Partaking of the Older Brother's Image…The Elijah/Elisha Effect

Key Points:

    • Becoming a priest is likened to stepping from death to life
    • We are taking on Yeshua's identity much like Pharz and Zarah and the breach birth
    • It is as if Yeshua, the arm of YHWH came first and offered for His brother to be born first.  Yeshua (the Arm of YHWH) returns to the womb (Mikva) and we receive the right and opportunity to be the first born.  The scarlet thread on the arm goes back into the Mikva, is dipped into the waters and we (Pharez) are treated like the one who came out first, Yeshua.  We receive His image and are given the birthright.
    • When the Ruach Hakodesh became unclean though contact with their dead flesh the name of YHWH was no longer one as the Ruach Hakodesh left the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve into exile.  The descending of the New Jerusalem and the Bride of the Messiah is the reunification of the name of YHWH through the reunification of the Messiah Yeshua and the Ruach Hakodesh via the "garments"
    • So to be clear the Bride of Yeshua who is made ready is the Ruach Hakodesh and she makes herself ready through our acts and clothes herself with our acts.  She is in us and causing us to ascend and reunite with YHWH
    • Just after Yeshua ascends as Elijah did, His mantle-the Ruach Hakodesh-falls upon His believers in Jerusalem
    • The mantle of the Elijah is the Ruach Hakodesh crying out in the wilderness for Israel to return to the Torah
    • The two prophets (witnesses) are composed of many people who get rewarded after being killed by the beast.  The reward happens in Revelation 12.  They are called the man-child.  The Ruach Hakodesh has finally given birth and is no longer barren
    • Why do the nations mourn at the sign of the Son of Man and not at His appearing?
    • Notice the 144,000 ascend and then heaven is purified of HaSatan and his demons.  They are cast down to earth.  They must descend after the man-child has ascended
    • This is the fate of the live bird, from Leviticus 14.  The Elijah ascends and the Elisha goes into the wilderness after those who need to return to YHWH, gathering them together into one body
    • They are taking up their role as priests of YHWH and officiating the judgments to be poured out on the earth.
    • These are the "angels" that John keeps mistaking as being Yeshua (the Image of YHWH), since they are in the image of YHWH.  He keeps trying to bow down and worship him.  The "angel" clarifies his identity to John
    • These 144,000 are in the image of YHWH and as such will ascend accordingly.  This naming changes them and gives them the ability to fulfill the will of YHWH.  This would appear to be different than what is occurring with the Ruach Hakodesh through the great multitude in the great tribulation

In order to understand the scarlet thread and who the Sons of Zadok are we need to follow the scarlet thread of Pharez and the mysteries of the sacrifices to see the redemptive work that Yeshua is doing in the world.  He is making priests from those who were not priests.  Becoming a priest is likened to stepping from death to life.  Once being dead and in exile now goes to being alive and being able to approach the throne of YHWH.  It is an elevation or ascension of status.  We are taking on Yeshua's identity much like Pharz and Zarah and the breach birth.  Let's follow the Scarlet thread for a while.  Just as Yeshua overturns the birthright of Multiplicity and Kingship, the same happens to the Priesthood.  Let's first examine how it happened related to Kingship.

Genesis 38: 24And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.  25When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.  26And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.  27And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.  28And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.  29And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.  30And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

Notice the arm that came out first received the scarlet thread.  He withdraws his arm and comes out second.  His name is Zarah.  His children are listed as serving at the "King's Hand".  Coincidence?  I don't think so.

Neh 11: 24And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

After extending his arm (Yeshua, the Holy arm of redemption), the arm returns to the womb (Mikva) and his brother Pharez is born first.  Observe that Pharez (Phares) is listed in the lineage of Yeshua.

Matt 1:1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.  2Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;  3And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

It is as if Yeshua, the arm of YHWH came first and offered for His brother to be born first. We inherit with Him.

Revelation 21: 7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Let's take a moment to see how the scarlet thread thematically repeats itself throughout the Torah and is at the foundation of the mysteries of the cleansing of dead flesh, the ordination of the priests, and the cleansing of the people and the sanctuary, and is interlaced with just about every single item related to the tabernacle and worship of YHWH.

--------------------

Genesis 38:28,And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.

Genesis 38:30,And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

Exodus 38:23,And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.

Exodus 39:29,And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Leviticus 14:4,Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

Leviticus 14:6,As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

Leviticus 14:49,And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

Leviticus 14:51,And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

Leviticus 14:52,And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

Notice how the scripture will list a number of colors, but scarlet is always mentioned last. The scarlet thread comes out last every single time.  Yeshua gives us the honor of being born first and then He comes.  Remember first the Arm of YHWH with the scarlet thread arrives.  The Arm (Yeshua) returns to the mikva and makes it possible for His brother to born first and inherit with Him.  Then the Arm with the scarlet thread comes again in full birth and view of the world.  Above we saw the sacrifice of the two birds for the cleansing of those with dead flesh (Leprosy).  The dead bird is Yeshua.  The living bird is the Ruach Hakodesh who flees to the wilderness and serves as the dead bird's priest cleansing the people.  The dead bird cleanses the living bird and both birds cleanse the whole house of Israel. They both prepare a people for YHWH.

Revelations 6: 9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:  10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?  11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Here you see the servants that are killed for their testimony of Yeshua.  Their blood is under the altar.  The rest that are not killed escape into the wilderness.  In the very next chapter we have the sealing of the 144,000.  This is not happenstance.  Follow the pattern.

Revelation 7: 3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.  4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  5Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.  6Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.  7Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.  8Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

These are the 144,000.  They are the servants of YHWH, whereas the great multitude that cannot be numbered are redeemed out the earth by the blood of the lamb.  They receive the image of Yeshua.  Notice the time difference.  He views the sealing of the 144,000, then "after this" he beholds the great multitude.  These are two separate groups, but I would assume that both are the Bride of the Lamb.  In the book of Revelation you will see the difference in location of the 144,000 and the great multitude.

Revelation 7:  9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;  10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.  11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,  12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.  13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.  16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.  17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

This great multitude serve in YHWH's temple and they are before the throne of YHWH.

Revelation 14:  1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

The 144,000 stand on Mount Sion (Zion) with the Lamb.

Revelation 21:  9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.  10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,  11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;  12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.  14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.  15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.  16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.  17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

Notice the dimensions of the city correspond to the 144,000 (12,000x12) (12x12).  These 144,000 have an intimate relationship with the Lamb and share in His throne.  The Bride of the Lamb is the Ruach Hakdoesh.  We are her garments.  This servant who measures the city appears to be the same servant who measures the temple in Revelation 11.

Revelation 17:  1And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

Revelation 19: 5And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.  6And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.  7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.  10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

It would appear that this "angel" is a glorified fellowservant of Yeshua from the measuring of the temple in Revelation 11 to the outpouring of YHWH's wrath in Revelation 17 to the voice coming out of the throne in Revelation 19.  Notice the "voice" says, "let us be glad".  The Bride of the Lamb, Yeshua, appears to be the Ruach Hakodesh clothed in the clean garments (flesh) of the 144,000 and the Great Multitude that have overcome till the end and taught the testimony of Yeshua and kept His Torah.  This is the reuniting of the Messiah and the Ruach Hakodesh through the redemption of the those who fell and were banned from the Garden of Eden.  When the Ruach Hakodesh became unclean though contact with their dead flesh the name of YHWH was no longer one as the Ruach Hakodesh left the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve into exile.  The descending of the New Jerusalem and the Bride of the Messiah is the reunification of the name of YHWH through the reunification of the Messiah Yeshua and the Ruach Hakodesh via the "garments".

The Bride is wearing the "garments".  "…his wife hath made herself ready.  8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints."  These garments are the righteousness of the saints.  She, the Ruach Hakodesh is clothed by our acts and she is in our flesh through the redemptive work of Yeshua.  It was through Yeshua's death, resurrection, and ascension that She could come and through us be reunited with YHWH back in the Garden.  So to be clear the Bride of Yeshua who is made ready is the Ruach Hakodesh and she makes herself ready through our acts and clothes herself with our acts.  She is in us and causing us to ascend and reunite with YHWH.

This event is properly described in the Aleinu, which is recited at the end of Jewish worship.

"It is our duty to praise the Master of all, to ascribe greatness to the Molder of primeval creation .. Therefore, we put our hope in you, Lord our God, that we may soon see Your mighty splendor.. On that day, the Lord will be One and His Name will be One. "

So this servant of YHWH, the "angel", measures the temple of YHWH and all of those who are within.

Revelation 11: 1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

He only measures the temple, the altar, and those who worship inside of it. Within the doors (6x7).

Revelation 11: 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Outside the doors (6x7) is not measured.  He is only measuring inside the Most Holy Place.  It is here that we are seeing a battle for the door of YHWH and who will be allowed to enter the Most Holy Place and who will not.  Notice the door is the size of 6x7 and the conflict lasts 6x7.

Ezekiel 41:  3Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.  4So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.

Revelation 11: 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

The length of the testimony of the two witnesses (144,000) is for 1,260 days.  This is the same as 42 months of 30 days.  These 144,000 are the two witnesses, the two olive trees (the two houses of Israel-Ephraim & Judah).  They are the two menorah standing before YHWH as a light to the world.  These are the salt of the Earth required to heal the waters (Ruach Hakodesh).

I Kings 21:  19And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren 20And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.  21And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.  22So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

It is through this light and new vessel with salt in it that brings about the healing of the bitter waters and revives the earth.  Fallen flesh is restored by offering the light of Yeshua to the world.  This is the work of the 144,000 (the two witnesses, the seven angels of the seven assemblies of Israel).

Revelation 11: 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Matthew 5:  13Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  14Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

These are the two witnesses before YHWH on earth dispensing the oil of the light of YHWH.  They are calling for the world to repent (Teshuva) and return to the written Torah.  They are calling a profane people back from the brink of destruction and showing them the only way of holiness.  This requires tough measures to get the world to pay attention.

Revelation 11: 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.  6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

This is the same power that Elijah's ministry displayed.  Elijah's ministry is to call Israel to repent of their Torahlessness and to show them how to not be profane.  These two witnesses (144,000) have the same power as Elijah.  They have the mantle of Elijah, the Ruach Hakodesh. The power of the Ruach Hakodesh will manifest itself for others to see.  This happened after Yeshua ascended into heaven and the Shekinah descended upon the apostles and the Ruach filled all the house.  Let's take note that the Shekinah gave the apostles "voice".  This is the same power of the 70 languages that occurred at the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai on the first Pentecost (Shavuot).

Acts 2: 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Just after Yeshua ascends to heaven as Elijah did, His mantle-the Ruach Hakodesh-falls upon His believers in Jerusalem.  Notice this anointing of the mantle of Elijah happens suddenly.  The mantle of the Elijah is the Ruach Hakodesh crying out in the wilderness for Israel to return to the Torah.

Matthew 15:  23But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.  24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

This is the same work as Elijah and Elisha.  This is the same work as John the Baptist and Paul.  This is the same work of the two witnesses (the seven angels of the seven assemblies) and the remnant of her seed.

I Kings 19:  18Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

This could be an allusion to the seven assemblies of Israel of the book of Revelation.  They are fighting against bowing to the Image of the Beast and are urged to conform to the Image of YHWH.  The seal of being conformed to YHWH's image is to have the Father's name written in their foreheads.  The seal of being conformed to the beast is having the beast's mark or image written on their foreheads or their hands.  Look at how quickly this sealing, anointing, marking happens.

I Kings 19:  19So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.20And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?

The passing of the mantle of Elijah, the Ruach Hakodesh, happens suddenly.  In fact Elisha has to run to catch up to Elijah.  After giving their testimony and just as Elijah is despairing of his life after giving his testimony and is wondering if anyone else has avoided taking the image of Baal, so too the two witnesses (144,000) are killed for their testimony of Yeshua and the Torah.

Revelation 11: 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

When the days of their testimony are done, the beast makes war with the 144,000 (two witnesses) and they are killed.  Just as HaSatan must have thought his victory over Yeshua was complete when Yeshua died on the tree, the whole world thinks they are victorious over this end-time nuisance.

Revelation 11: 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Just like Yeshua they will lay dead for 3 ½ days and then be called by YHWH back to life.  They conform to the image of YHWH, Yeshua.  This is the sign of the son of man!

Revelation 11: 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Notice it is right after the ascension of these two prophets (witnesses) that you have great voices in heaven, and the kingdoms of the world become YHWH's & Yeshua's, and the twenty-four elders bow down and worship YHWH.  It states "the time of the dead, that they should be judged,".  Not before, not later…now…right after the death and resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses and the appearance of the man-child in heaven.  The child is caught up to YHWH and His throne.  This is just like the two witnesses of the prior chapter.  They ascend to heaven in the Shekinah Glory just as Moses and Elijah did.  They become one with the Shekinah and then ascend to YHWH.  The implications of this are astounding.  The Ruach Hakodesh has given birth.  That is the wonder in heaven from Revelation 12.

Revelation 11:   12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them... 15And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.  16And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.  18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.  19And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The chapter begins with the measuring of the temple and those worshipping therein, making sure not to measure the court trampled by those who don't have Torah or Yeshua.  It immediately moves to the killing of the two witnesses and then the reigning of Yeshua and the rewarding of ".. thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great…"  These are all the same people from the start of the chapter till the end.  These two prophets (witnesses) are composed of many people who get rewarded after being killed by the beast.  The reward happens in Revelation 12.  They are called the man-child.  The Ruach Hakodesh has finally given birth and is no longer barren.  It is always the coming of the Angel of YHWH (Yeshua) that makes it possible for the barren one (Ruach Hakodesh) to gain conception and give birth.  Could John the Baptist be filled with the Ruach Hakodesh and Yeshua be filled with His Ruach which are then joined only in the Mikva bringing about a new wonder:  The man-child in heaven?

The Man-Child is born again!  The 144,000 are called up to YHWH's heavenly throne, just like Elijah!  Now we don't see 144,000 ascend into heaven, but we do see the two witnesses ascend into heaven.  The first time you hear of the 144,000 is their being sealed “in their foreheads” in Revelation 7 and the next time you see the 144,000 is in Revelation 14 standing with the lamb on Mt. Zion with YHWH's name written on their foreheads singing a new song before the throne.

Notice the great multitude is not sealed in this manner.  These 144,000 have a different ministry than the great multitude.

Revelation 14:  1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.  2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:  3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

The great multitude cannot learn this song, only the 144,000 can learn the song.  I contend the 144,000 can enter the Holy of Holies whereas the great multitude serve only in the temple.  So when does this 144,000 go up to heaven?  If they are the two witnesses, then they are called up to heaven after having been killed and lie dead for 3 1/2 days.  Resurrection after three days is the sign of the Son of Man.  This is the great wonder of Revelation 12.  It causes the nations to mourn.

Revelation 12:  1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.  3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.  4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Notice this promise to “rule with a rod of iron” is the same promise to those seven assemblies who overcome in Revelation.  The overcomer  will rule with a rod of iron.  Most mistake this as being Yeshua because it looks so much like Him.  They are in His image.

Revelation 2:  25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.  26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:  27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Romans 16: 20And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Malachi 4:  2But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.  3And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

This man-child, the Elijah who must first come, the 144,000 are killed in Jerusalem by the beast, the dragon.  They are dead 3 ½ days and then called up to heaven, born again, and resurrected into YHWH's throne.  This is their fate.  The Shekinah, the one who travailed with birth, crowned with 12 stars (Israel-12 tribes) flees into the wilderness.

Matthew 24:

26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.  27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Why do the nations mourn at the sign of the Son of Man and not at His appearing?  The sign of the Son of Man is resurrection after 3 days.  The resurrection of His two witnesses happens after they lie dead for 3 days and then they are called up to heaven.  This is the man child appearing in Heaven in Revelation 12. It is no coincidence that this is the same sign in Matthew 24 and in Revelation 12.  Notice it doesn't say they mourn at the appearing of the Son of Man.  They mourn at the appearing of the sign...of the Son of Man. In fact you don't see Yeshua returning to the earth until Revelation 19.  Why would there be two appearings of Yeshua in Revelation?  There's only one second coming which is then mentioned after they mourn the resurrection and ascension of YHWH's two witnesses.

Revelation 12:1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.  7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Notice the 144,000 ascend and then heaven is purified of HaSatan and his demons.  They are cast down to earth.  They must descend after the man-child has ascended.  Afterwards Yeshua comes with those clothed in white to complete the task of purging the earth and causing HaSatan and his demons to descend once again into the bottomless pit.  Those that contend that heaven does not need to be cleansed need to bear this scripture.  We must also keep in mind that YHWH makes a new heavens and earth at the end of Revelation.  If there were no need for cleansing, there would be no need for a new order and  passing of the old order.

Matthew 16: 1The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.  2He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.  3And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?  4A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

The sign of Jonas is the Sign of the Son of Man…resurrection after 3 days and nights.

Luke 11:  30For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.  31The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.  32The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.  33No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.  34The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

Let's look quickly at Jonah's sign.

Jonah 1:   10Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.  11Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.  12And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you…17Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Jonah 2:  1Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,  2And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.  3For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.  4Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.  9But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.  10And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

The story of Jonah has such strong imagery.  Doesn't this look like the division of YHWH's name via the exile of the Ruach Hakodesh that went with Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden?  The Messiah goes into exile to return Adam and Eve and then Israel from exile back to the Garden of Eden, the Holy of Holies.  The Messiah is in a state of death having been exiled for coming into contact with dead flesh (us in fallen flesh).  He is cast down into tumultuous waters, crying out for salvation, and later after a three day journey to the city he waits on the east side of the city seeing if Nineveh will repent and return to YHWH.  The Ruach is craving to return to YHWH's holy temple and offer the sacrifice of praise.  Notice Yeshua waited for 40 days before ascending to heaven, perhaps waiting to see if Israel as a whole would repent and turn to YHWH.  He then waits till the third millennial day waiting to see if Israel will repent before judgment comes.

The sign of Jonah is a 3 day resurrection.  Just as Jonas was a sign to the Ninevites, Yeshua will give the sign of resurrection to the last generation.  His two witnesses, the 144,000, are the man-child born again in heaven after going through the travail of fighting the beast and being killed.  They are in the image of Yeshua.  That is why they mourn at the "sign" of the son of man and why the scripture does not say they mourn at the son of man's appearing.

Yeshua appears in heaven and returns to Earth in Revelation 19, not Revelation 12.

Revelation 19: 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 12 does not call the man-child the Word of God!  Let's not miss all these clues!  It is after this man-child ascends into heaven that great workings are occurring within the heavenly temple, the pouring out of wrath on the nations.  Then Yeshua returns.  I would contend that this man-child of Revelation 12 is Yeshua's Deputy Kohen Hagadol or His War Priest just as Joshua (man-child) accompanied Moses (Yeshua) on the mountain (heaven).  Now these two witnesses leave a remnant that carry the same Testimony that they gave during the days of their prophecy, 1260 days, 42 months, 3 ½ years.  This remnant with the Ruach Hakodesh flee into the wilderness (the live bird of Leviticus 14).

Revelation 12: 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Now that the man-child has ascended into heaven, the heavens must be purified of that which is profane, the great dragon and those angels who follow him.

Revelation 12:  7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,  8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The dragon is cast down to earth and persecutes the woman, the Shekinah in Diaspora with Israel, those who have received the Testimony of Yeshua from the 144,000, their remnant.  Notice that 144,000 are elevated and the dragon and his demons must descend.  There is no place in heaven for both of them.  Measure for measure punishment is given to the one who attempted to bring low those who overcame by the Testimony of Yeshua.  Now the accuser is brought low and has to descend.

Revelation 12: 13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

This is the fate of the live bird, from Leviticus 14.  The Elijah ascends and the Elisha goes into the wilderness after those who need to return to YHWH, gathering them together into one body.

Revelation 12: 15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13 shows the beast attempting to get all to profane themselves by worshiping him instead of YHWH.  That is why he persecutes those who have the testimony of Yeshua and keep the Torah.  They are turning people from profane to holiness.

Revelation 14:1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

The firstfruits (144,000) are waved (elevated or ascend) before YHWH.  They are an elevation offering.  Notice there is no mention of the ascension of the 144,000, but it is said they are on Mount Zion.  Is this the Mount Sion (Zion) on earth?  He hears a voice from of heaven, possibly as if they are not in heaven.  But they sing a new song before the throne, before the four beasts, and before the elders.  The throne is in heaven.  These 144,000 are specifically mentioned as being the "firstfruits" who have been “waved”.  The firstfruits are associated with the first born, the priests of YHWH.  It would appear that they are in heaven for an important purpose at this time.

They are taking up their role as priests of YHWH and officiating the judgments to be poured out on the earth.  Notice the 144,000 were sealed in Revelation 7, and then there is a viewing of a great multitude that serve in the temple of YHWH.  They are clothed in white and have be cleansed by the blood of the lamb.  But they are not sealed, only the 144,000 are mentioned as being sealed with the Father’s name.  These are specific group of people.  They are actively serving YHWH.

Revelation 7:  3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4, And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

It would appear that they are appointed for war.  Could it be that the 144,000 are not general priests in YHWH's temple?  But they are  as Joshua on the mountain with Moses, his Deputy Kohen Hagadol or Warpriest?

Numbers 31:  3And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.  4Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.  5So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

Notice that 1,000 are appointed to war from each tribe a total of 12,000 sent to war.  They are sent with Phinehas the War Priest.  He carries with him the holy instruments and trumpets for blowing.  This sounds very similar to the Revelation trumpets and vials that are poured out on the earth.

Numbers 31:  5So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.  6And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.  7And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

Why is there no mention of the 144,000's ascension?  Could it be that we did see their ascension, but we didn't recognize the symbols?  These are counted from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.  Israel is composed of two houses, Ephraim and Judah.  They are the two olive trees and the two menorah.

Zechariah 4:  11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?  12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?  13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.  14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

Ezekiel 37:15The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. 18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. 20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

These 144,000 are really the two houses of Israel.  They are the two witnesses that dispense oil out of themselves to the world.  We saw their ascension after being killed by the beast.  We see their presence once again pouring out the vials from the temple in heaven and then it is their task as the "angels" that follow Yeshua to gather his elect from the four winds and the uttermost part of earth and heaven.

Mark 13:  26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.  27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

I would contend these gathering "angels" are of those redeemed from the Earth.  This scripture about the everlasting gospel immediately follows the mention of the 144,000 singing a new song before the throne with the Lamb, and having the name of the Father written on their foreheads in Revelation 14:1-3.

Revelation 14:  6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,  7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.  8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.  9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

These are the "angels" that John keeps mistaking as being Yeshua (the Image of YHWH), since they are in the image of YHWH.  He keeps trying to bow down and worship him.  The "angel" clarifies his identity to John.

Revelation 19:  9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.

This angel in heaven is one of those who have the testimony of Yeshua, one of John’s fellow servants!  He is also one of those angels sent to preach the gospel to the world.  He is also one of those angels pronouncing judgment on the earth. He is also one of those angels gathering YHWH's elect.  This angel is a man who has been resurrected and ascended to heaven.  He is either of the man-child resurrected into heaven which I propose are the 144,000 on Mount Zion, or he is of the great multitude in heaven.  Of which group he is from I would not wish to be adamant.  None-the-less there are resurrected men in heaven during portions of the tribulation.  This point I don’t feel is refutable.  So does “man” ascend into the heavenly sanctuary?  Yes.  Do the 144,000 ascend to heaven?  Yes.  Are great multitudes brought before the throne on a sea of glass in heaven during the tribulation?  Yes.  Is Israel gathered from the utmost parts of the earth back to physical Israel?  Yes.  Do armies clothed in white follow Yeshua to the Earth to defeat HaSatan?  Yes.

Revelation 11: 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.  5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.  6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.  7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.  8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation 14: 5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

The 144,000 are not profane, hence they are called to ascend and enter into the Most Holy Place.  This is the work of one who shares in Yeshua’s throne and His priesthood.  This is the work of gathering the lost and making them holy in one body.

This is the gathering of dispersed Israel and the revival of dry bones of Ezekiel 37.

We are given a view of the great multitude in Heaven singing before YHWH.  Notice this sign of Revelation 15 is mentioned in connection with the great wonder in heaven of Revelation 12 (the birth of the man-child in heaven).  These signs are connected.  The seven angels are the two witnesses and they are the 144,000, the great wonder in heaven of Revelation 12.  They do not appear to be the great multitude.  They are the servants, the angels, the messengers of the gospel, not the recipients thereof as the great multitudes are.

Revelation 15: 1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.  5And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

We are seeing a clear connection between those who take victory over the beast who are now in heaven singing the song of Moses (which was also sung after the defeat of the Egyptian army and crossing over through the mikva of the Red Sea).  Then the tabernacle of the testimony is opened in heaven and out come the seven angels of the seven assemblies of Revelation 2 and 3.  They are clothed with the clothing of the priests serving in the temple of YHWH. These are of the seven assemblies of Israel that were redeemed out of the earth.  These 7 angels are clothed in white linen-“the righteousness of the saints”.  They have just come out of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven and they are all given the vials of the wrath of YHWH to pour out on the earth.  No man can enter the temple until the seven plagues are fulfilled because the glory of YHWH is within.

These “seven” have just come out of the Most Holy Place, the Holy of Holies, and have just interacted with one of the four beasts.  They have ascended up to the throne of Yeshua.  I would contend that the great multitude is standing in the holy place in heaven and the 144,000 are within the Holy of Holies in heaven.  The Sons of Zadok serve in the Most Holy Place and the Levites serve in the temple precinct.  The 144,000 (12,000x12 or 12x12) resemble the cube of the Most Holy Place while the great multitude serve in the larger area of the temple precinct before the throne.

Revelation 3: To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Later we hear a singular voice coming from the throne.  The voice is including itself in the praise of YHWH.  Remember throughout the scripture related to Moses and Elijah and the appearance of Adonai in the tabernacle and on the mountain is the revealing of the “Voice” and the “Word of YHWH”.  And a voice “as it were the voice of a great multitude” responds.  John does not clarify if this responsive voice “as a multitude” is coming from the throne or from some other place.  He only identifies a voice coming out of the throne.

What about the hope of a better resurrection?  Is there really a separation in heaven between the Holy and the Most Holy Place?

Hebrews 11: 5Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

Notice Hebrews 11 doesn't indicate that they hoped for a resurrection.  They sought after a better resurrection which appears to be connected to not being delivered from death.

Matthew 10:  37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.  39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

This may be indicative of why only 144,000 are sealed with the Father's name in their foreheads and why the great multitude doesn't appear to have this same sealing of the Father's name.  I can only assume that this having the name of the Father written into the forehead makes them a special creation.  This is not just a surface identifying mark.  It changes them forever.  Just as the 4 beasts have a special role and the 7 angels of the seven assemblies have a special role so too do those who receive this sealing.  It is a permanent change.  Ultimately it causes them to be elevated and to ascend to YHWH just as Yeshua did.  Yeshua is the Angel of YHWH who has the Father’s name in Him.

Exodus 23:  20Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.  21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

Hebrews 1:  3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:  4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

These 144,000 are in the image of YHWH and as such will ascend accordingly.  This naming changes them and gives them the ability to fulfill the will of YHWH.  This would appear to be different than what is occurring with the Ruach Hakodesh through the great multitude in the great tribulation.

Observe it is the Ruach Hakodesh that was previously banished from the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve that has now made herself ready with the clean garments of the great multitude that have been redeemed by Yeshua.

Revelation 19: 8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

This is the same linen from Ezekiel 44 and 45, the garments which the priests wear as they serve YHWH.

Revelation 19: 9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Notice John mistakenly thinks this voice is YHWH.  He does so because it conforms to the image of YHWH, Yeshua.  This is the voice of one of those who share in Yeshua's throne.

Revelation 3:  20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.  22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Immediately following this mistaken attempt at worshiping, this fellowservant shows him who he should worship.

We can clearly see that this is the Word of YHWH, the Voice of YHWH, the Angel of YHWH who has the Father’s name written in Him.  He has a more excellent name. Now look at those armies who follow Him.  They are in His image.  They also ride white horses, just like Yeshua. They are clothed in white linen because His vesture was dipped in blood.  He has a special name that no one knows as do the 144,000.

Revelation 2: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

I would contend that these “armies in heaven” are those redeemed out of the earth, the great multitude who are redeemed through His vesture dipped in blood.  These do not appear to be the 144,000 as these all are described as wearing white and the 144,000 are not described with clothing.

Revelation 19: 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Revelation 7:  13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

These are the great multitude who have been redeemed out of the earth.  These are those who have partaken in the first resurrection.  I would assume the 144,000 are there as well since they follow the Lamb wherever he goes.

It would appear that first you have the ascension of the two witnesses (144,000) who are killed and then appear on Mount Zion in heaven and then you have the angel going out and preaching the gospel one last time to all nations.

This occurs after the ascension of the two witnesses, and after the preaching of the gospel the following blessing is issued.

Revelation 14:  13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

It would appear that these are the great multitude that appear in heaven after this preaching and the subsequent reaping.  This next scripture follows immediately after the final preaching and reaping.

Let’s take note of this being another “sign in heaven”, not too far different from the “great wonder” in heaven of the birth of the man-child of Revelation 12.  This too is a wonderful event, but it is not a great wonder.  I would contend that these have washed in the blood of Yeshua and have become clean, but perhaps do not have the same glorification (better resurrection) as the two witnesses (144,000).  Notice their redemption happens “after” the ascension of the 144,000 and they appear to be listed as occurring “after” the events of the 144,000.

Revelation 7:  4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  5Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.  6Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.  7Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.  8Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.  9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Let’s take note of several stated facts.  The great multitude are clothed in white robes and they are described as such “after” the events of the sealing of the 144,000.  Each time the 144,000 are described they are not described as having white robes.  In fact they are not described wearing anything, except the name of the Father.

Also notice where each group stands.  The great multitude stands before the Lamb and before the throne, whereas the 144,000 stand with the Lamb on Mount Zion.  The 144,000 have the Father’s name written in their foreheads.  Both the 144,000 and the great multitude appear to be before the throne, but only the Lamb and the 144,000 appear to be on the mountain.  The great multitude is shown as standing on a sea of glass, not on the mountain (Revelation 15:2).  This is just like Moses on the top of the Mountain, Joshua further down, the 70 elders further down, and the rest of Israel at the base of the mountain.  It is the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, and the Outer Court, respectively.

4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

These 144,000 also sing a new song that none of the other redeemed can learn, not even the great multitude.  They are virgins that follow the Lamb wherever He goes and they are listed as being the “firstfruits” unto YHWH.  Now if the 144,000 are singing a new song that no one else can learn what does the great multitude sing?

Revelation 15:  2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.  3And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

These sing the song of the Moses and the song of the Lamb.  Is this “song of the Lamb” the same as the song of the 144,000?  No. The 144,000 sing a song no one else can sing.  If these were the same songs, then the group in Revelation 15 quoted above would still only be a total of 144,000 and not a great multitude.  It would appear that the 144,000 are accompanied by the great multitude on their harps, but only the 144,000 sing the new song.

Revelation 20:4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

These are the first-fruits. The rest of the fruit is harvested 1,000 years later.

Revelation 20: 5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

These are the priests of YHWH that can enter the heavenly temple.  The second death does not touch them.

It is after the 1,000 years that the general resurrection occurs.

Revelation 20: 7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Notice up till now John had not seen the great white throne, earlier he had only heard the voice (Word from the throne) and then the description of Yeshua with His vesture dipped in blood is shown.  I would suggest that what we have seen and heard up till this point has been focused on Yeshua and those of His seed, His image, and those who conform to His likeness.  It is only now that we have the final judgment by YHWH who sits on the throne.

Revelation 20: 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

It is only when the Heavens and the Earth are cleansed of all that is profane that all things are made new and YHWH can bring His tabernacle down to earth.  This happens after the 1,000 years, not before.  This is after the creation of the new heavens and the new earth.

Revelation 21: 1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

All that is profane is kept out.

Revelation 21:  8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Then we are given a view of the Lamb's bride.  It is a city of redeemed people cleansed by the Ruach Hakodesh and Yeshua the Messiah!  They have characteristics similar to Ezekiel's temple.

Notice the city has the same dimensions as the Holy of Holies and the 144,000.  12,000x12,000x12,000 (A cube), and the 144,000=12x 12,000.

Ephesians 3: 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

This city of people conform not to the beast or its image, but to YHWH's image.  They are filled with the fullness of YHWH.  The spirit of Messiah Yeshua is joined in one with the Ruach Hakodesh in the Mikva and the called out one is immersed in both; they all become a new creation in the Mikva (the womb) and are born again, like “a man, that is of an angel”.

Revelation 21: 17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

There is no menorah in Ezekiel's temple, nor is there an Ark of the Covenant.  As we see the fulfillment of prophetic events, those physical reminders are no longer necessary.  What is real is now in view, so there is no need for a reminder.  We see a city of redeemed people that have re-entered the Garden of Eden and the Holy of Holies.  Hence the city no longer needs a temple nor the sun or the moon, since Yeshua and YHWH are the temple and the light of the city.  The Garden of Eden is back on earth and man is dwelling in unity with YHWH.  All is made one again.  The dead are made alive, the unclean are made clean, the diseased are made whole, the exile may return home, the common man is made a priest of YHWH.

Revelation 21: 24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Only those written in the Lamb's book of life may enter the New Jerusalem.  Ezekiel's temple is teaching us to leave the profane without and to only allow the Holy within. Elijah, John the Baptist, Paul, and the 144,000 are also teaching this same message to lost Israel.  The final chapter of Revelation matches the message of Elijah.

Notice after the new heavens and new earth all the servants of YHWH are marked by the name in their foreheads.  The question is whose face do they now see?  The Father or the Lamb?  Whose name are they marked with?  The Father’s, like the 144,000 or the Lamb’s name?  We cannot haphazardly assume they are marked just like the 144,000.  Could it be that all are elevated after the creation of the new heavens and new earth and are marked the same as the 144,000 with the name of the Father?  Or is it they serve the Lamb who sits in the throne of the Father and they see Yeshua’s face and have Yeshua’s name in their foreheads?

Revelation 22: 3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

John again tries to worship one his fellowservants.  Let’s notice again this is a fellow servant of the prophets.  He is a resurrected servant of YHWH.  We saw him earlier in Revelation 15.

7And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 17:  1And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

These seven angels are those who overcome the image, mark, and number of the Beast.  These are the great multitude.  See how they match up with those seven angels in Revelation 1 and 14.

Revelation 1: 4John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

It is the seven angels that are clothed with white linen and come out of the temple with the 7 vials of the wrath of YHWH.

Revelation 15:  6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Aren’t these the same people as seen in Revelation 7 “after” the sealing of the 144,000?

Revelation 7: 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

It is the great multitude that are before the throne clothed in white.  Notice it is the seven spirits that are before the throne.  They are the same.   As we read on notice even one of the elders in heaven inquires of John what these people arrayed in white are.  He doesn’t ask who, he asks “what are they and where did they come from”.

The elder did not inquire who the 144,000 were, I would assume because he could tell by the name of the Father in their foreheads.

The 144,000 sing a new song before the throne, before the four beasts, and the elders.  This elder in Revelation 7 apparently already knew who the 144,000 were.  There appears to be a relationship between the 144,000, the elders, and the 4 beasts.

These seven last angels of Revelation 15 are clothed in pure white linen and appear to be the angels of the Assemblies of Israel from the early chapters of Revelation.  They are the redeemed from the earth.  They overcome the beast.  Their image conforms to Yeshua's, and they are frequently mistaken for being Yeshua.  They have the voice singing the song of Moses and of the Lamb.  They are before the four beasts and are given the vials of the wrath of YHWH to pour out.  This is the task of the Elijah/Elisha to bring about the wrath of YHWH in order to cleanse the world from the profane so that they might come to know the name of YHWH.

Revelation 21:  9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

This is the angel that had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues.  This is one of the redeemed who conforms to the Image of YHWH.  That is why John attempts to worship him, he thinks it is Yeshua.
