When Does Life Begin?

Key Points:

  • What does the Torah and Yeshua say about when life begins?
  • When does the Brit Chadasha say life begins?
  • Where is the life located for all flesh?
  • What is the life? Is it the blood or is it the breath?
  • How does the seed receive life?
  • How does Yeshua provide the Breath and Blood of Life?
  • Is the Un-born child alive?
  • The answers always come back to "seed then flesh"
  • Do we need Yeshua in order to be saved and have life?
  • Are we "once saved always saved"?
  • How are the "generations of the heavens and earth" tied to the "generations of Adam"?
  • What do the 42 months, 42 journeys of Israel, and 42 weeks have to do with Seed Then Flesh? Everything...Conception to birth=42
  • Why did the first generation of Israel delivered from Egypt have to die in the wilderness?
  • Why did Moses confront the Rock twice in search of water? We now know why!
  • What does the Aaronic blessing have to do with the transcribing of YHWH's DNA (image)?

Many Torah observant followers of Yeshua are rejecting the sanctity of life in an attempt to reconcile when and if abortion is lawful. The answers should be plainly laid before us within the Torah, the Tanach, and the Brit Chadasha. Some say that the unborn child is not alive until the child has blood flowing in his/her body. They base this belief on the scripture about life being in the blood and when the blood actually flows in the baby's body. Some assume that life is not present until blood is present. Is this what the Torah teaches? Is this what Yeshua teaches? Is the blood the life? Some also say that we don't need Yeshua in order to be saved. Let us look to the testimony of Yeshua and the Torah to discover the secrets of life.

Genesis 9: 3Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.  4But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.  5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

This scripture says the life is "of the blood". It does not say the life is the blood. We see other scriptures that also talk about the life and the blood.

Is the Life in the Blood? In the Breath? Or Both?

This next scripture says, "the blood is the life". How do we reconcile these statements with Genesis 9:3?

Deuteronomy 12:  22Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.  23Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.  24Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.

Let's take a look at another scripture. Perhaps it will be a little more specific and give us the missing details.

Leviticus 17: 10And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.  11For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.  12Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.  13And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.  14For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.  15And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.  16But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

Leviticus confirms that the "life is in the blood". But let's pay attention to the scripture. Does this substantiate the argument that the unborn child is not alive until he/she has blood flowing through his/her body? Let's look closer. Leviticus does not say that the "life is the blood". Leviticus says that the "life is IN the blood". If that is the case then there must be other scriptures that clarify what the life is that is "in" the blood.

The Life is "In" the Blood; so what is "in" the Blood?

  • Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
  • Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
  • Genesis 7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
  • Genesis 7:22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
  • Job 33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
  • Acts 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

So we have clear scriptural proof from the Torah, Tanach, and the Brit Chadasha that the life is the "Breath of the Almighty", t hat those with the "breath of life" are living souls. But is this really sufficient to answer to answer when life begins? We need to search deeper. The scriptures are telling us that the life comes from the "breath of the Almighty" or "the breath of life". But what about the life "in" the blood? Science has shown us clearly that indeed the life (breath) is in the blood.

Scripture should also tell us when there is a cessation of life. Is it with the giving up of the blood or the giving up of the "ghost" (breath of life)?

All of these scriptures show the cessation of life with the departure of the "ghost" (breath of life). We see this same term used in the Brit Chadasha.

We see in the Torah, Tanach, and the Brit Chadasha that giving up the breath (ghost) is equated with the cessation of life.

We also see that Yeshua's flesh died as He said He was committing His "spirit" to YHWH and then subsequently He gave up the "ghost". The cessation of fleshly (physical) life was connected to the "spirit" returning to YHWH and giving "up the ghost".

Strong's Concordance:

Luk 23:46, And 2532 when Jesus 2424 had cried 5455 with a loud 3173 voice 5456, he said 2036 , Father 3962, into 1519 thy 4675 hands 5495 I commend 3908 my 3450 spirit 4151: and 2532 having said 2036 thus 5023, he gave up the ghost 1606 .

Greek for G1606-ekpneō-(Ghost): 1) to breathe out, breathe out one's life, breathe one's last, expire

So Yeshua's spirit, the source of His fleshly life, departed and returned to YHWH. Is this how it works for all mankind?

Ecclesiastes 12:  6Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.  7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Notice again the intimate connection between the earth and the spirit. In their unfallen state they are not meant to parted, but to be joined intimately. The Torah is about the "generations of Adam" and the "generations of the Heavens and the Earth". This should give us great insight into YHHW's purpose for creating Adam. Adam was created to "till the ground".

What is the Purpose of Fleshly Existence?

Genesis 2:  5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Notice how YHWH mentions Adam's purpose for existence in connection with causing flesh to grow from seeds that had not yet produced flesh. Adam is intimately tied to the earth bringing forth fruit. We have typically viewed this verse as Adam needing to go out and work in the garden to prune the shrub when in reality YHWH viewed the filling of the earth with Adam's seed and fleshly descendants as the "tilling" that YHWH was hoping would be fruitful.

  • Genesis 1:  28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
  • Genesis 9:  1And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

Contrary to YHWH's command for man's flesh to fill (replenish) the earth, man disobeys and starts to build a tower to avoid "filling the earth".

Genesis 11:  4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

The fruit that YHWH is looking for is that which is born of man and woman who obey His Torah and cling to the Tree of Life from the beginning to the end.

  • Matthew 7: 15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
  • Acts 14:  15And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:  16Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.  17Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
  • Galations 5:  21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
  • Psalms 127:  2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.  3Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  4As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Just as YHWH sowed seed in expectation of good fruit, Yeshua has commissioned us to also go into the whole world sowing His seed.

Mark 16: 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

So we can see from Yeshua's own testimony that He viewed the cessation of His physical (fleshly) life with the departure of His spirit. His death occurs simultaneously with His last breath. As Leviticus 17:11 shows us there is an intimate relationship between the blood and the breath which makes man a living soul. This is the message of the gospel, blood making atonement for the soul to ensure the deathless joining of heaven (spirit) and earth (incorruptible flesh).

It is by the blood that atonement is made for the breath (soul). The life as we have seen in the above scriptures is the "breath of the Almighty" and it is"in the blood". A living soul dies when it gives up the "breath of the Almighty". The blood carries the breath. Medical science has confirmed the breath of life is in the blood.

Wikipedia:

The circulatory system is an organ system that moves nutrients, gases, and wastes to and from cells, helps fight diseases and helps stabilize body temperature and pH to maintain homeostasis. This system may be seen strictly as a blood distribution network, but some consider the circulatory system as composed of the cardiovascular system, which distributes blood, and the lymphatic system, which distributes lymph. While humans, as well as other vertebrates, have a closed cardiovascular system (meaning that the blood never leaves the network of arteries, veins and capillaries), some invertebrate groups have an open cardiovascular system. The most primitive animal phyla lack circulatory systems. The lymphatic system, on the other hand, is an open system.

The main components of the human circulatory system are the heart, the blood, and the blood vessels. The circulatory system includes: the pulmonary circulation, a "loop" through the lungs where blood is oxygenated; and the systemic circulation, a "loop" through the rest of the body to provide oxygenated blood. An average adult contains five to six quarts (roughly 4.7 to 5.7 liters) of blood, which consists of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Also, the digestive system works with the circulatory system to provide the nutrients the system needs to keep the heart pumping.

We can see that science confirms that "breath" (oxygen) does indeed circulate via the "blood" and nourishes all of the body's systems. The life is "in" the blood. The focus of the Torah at Adam's formation of flesh on the seventh day is the giving of the "breath of the Almighty", not the giving of blood. Take notice of the state of all of YHWH's creation early on the seventh day. All had been made, but nothing had grown flesh since YHWH had not yet caused the creation to be watered. The seeds are made and planted, but nothing has produced flesh as a fleshly living soul.

The Torah Pattern of Seed then Flesh:

Genesis 2: 5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

It is only after the watering that all seeds begin to grow and man receives the breath of life and becomes a living soul with flesh.

Genesis 2: 6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.  7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.  9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

How can this be? Weren't all things "made" in Genesis 1? Notice the key words! Genesis 2 shows YHWH "forming" all flesh. Genesis 1 shows Elohim "making" all seed.

Genesis 1: 11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.  12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Notice the focus is on Elohim creating seed bearing plants. We must reconcile this with Genesis 2. The seeds are created in Genesis 1, but as Genesis 2 states, none will have grown until YHWH causes a mist to come up from the face of the ground on the seventh day.

Genesis 2: 5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

What about the rest of Genesis 1? Keep in mind that throughout Genesis 1 we see the name of "El" being used. Adonai always uses the name "El" when he is dealing with the promised seed, the multiplicity of seed in secret or in hiding (exile, Egypt, or wilderness). Notice the seeds are hidden in the earth and don't form flesh until Genesis 2 when YHWH (Lord God) causes the watering of the seeds. Water is also synonymous with "breath of the Almighty". In Genesis 2 we see the seeds in the earth watered and growing and we see Adam given the "breath of the Almighty" (water of life). The name YHWH also appears later when God (YHWH) promises to deliver the land of Israel to Abraham's descendants. We see the name YHWH again later when YHWH delivers Israel's descendants (flesh) from the wilderness (exile) and into the Promised Land.

Exodus 1: And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.

These living souls (seed producing flesh) need YHWH to deliver them from bondage (death) to the land of promise (incorruptible life).

Exodus 6:3, And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

The name "EL" is used for the causation of the hidden multiplication of seed, and the name "YHWH" is used for the causation of the deliverance/formation of flesh. Abram had "EL's" promise of multiplicity of seed and Abram experienced God through the promise of multiplicity. The Almighty reveals Himself to man through various names and each name has meaning and significance.  He is always communicating with us, but we are not always able to understand what He means.  It is up to us to be an active participant in our redemption and come out of sin so that we can come to the point of hearing the voice of YHWH.

In Exodus, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob begins to reveal Himself to the Children of Israel in a way that He had not done with their forefathers.  He has brought about His promise of multiplicity of seed and now He is working to deliver their flesh to the promised land. Hence God (Adonai) switches from using the name El which is associated with the promise of multiplicity of hidden seed, and starts using the name YHWH fulfilling the promise to deliver the seed's flesh to the promised land.

Exodus 6:2And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH (YHWH) was I not known to them.4And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

YHWH is telling the Children of Israel that He is going to reveal Himself to them by the name of YHWH and all that the name means.  Now it is clear that the promises that were made to Abram and Jacob were given in two names of God, El Shaddai (El, Elohim) and YHWH (Lord). Seed then Flesh!

Genesis 15:4And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.7And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?9And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

Notice the focus of this passage is the promise of inheritance of the promised land.  God promises the land to Abraham’s descendants in the name of YHWH (Lord).  So Abraham knew the name YHWH. When God promises to Abram the multiplicity of seed He makes His promises via the name El Shaddai.

Genesis 17:1And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God (El Shaddai); walk before me, and be thou perfect.  And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.  3And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

So once again let's recap Seed then Flesh in regard to God's promises to Abraham.

  • The covenant with Abram and his descendants included great multiplicity of seed/descendants and the promise of the inheritance of the promised land. When God promises multiplicity of seed He uses a derivation of the name El, as in El Shaddai or Elohim.
  • When God promises the deliverance of the land He uses the YHWH (Lord).
  • The creation and promise of seed is hidden and the deliverance of the land is out in the open for all to see (revealed).
  • Conception (hidden), Birth (revealed)
  • Seed then Flesh
  • Exile then Return to the Land
  • Womb then Birth

You see the same patterns of God (Adonai) working His mighty hand in the events of the world.  The Book of Esther is a great example of Adonai operating in hiding but moving His will in the events of the world.  Not once is Adonai’s name mentioned in the Book of Esther, but His will is manifest throughout.  The Book of Esther is about the preservation of the Seed of Israel while hidden in exile under bondage to Persia.  The seed is in Diaspora or hiding.  So the miracles seem to occur as a part of natural events.  Other nations cannot tell that these are Adonai’s people.  Dispersed Israel is very similar to Joseph in Egypt.  Even his brothers could not tell he wasn't Egyptian, but of their own seed.

Abraham did have YHWH's promise of deliverance of his seed's flesh, but that name was to be "known" or directly experienced by his seed's flesh, not by his own flesh.

Genesis 22: 8And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.  9And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.  10And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.  11And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.  12And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.  13And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.  14And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.  15And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,  16And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  17That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;  18And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

We again see "God" (Elohim) providing the lamb (image or seed of YHWH) and we then see the fleshly appearance of the seed as the lamb in the mount of the "Lord" (YHWH). Again, the pattern is "Seed then Flesh". Take note of "Jehovahjireh".

  • Jehovah-jireh = "Jehovah sees", proper locative noun
  • It is through Yeshua's flesh that YHWH "sees" us. Remember it was after Adam and Eve fell and lost their proper covering and became naked, that YHWH was not able to locate them and had to call out "Where are you". YHWH subsequently had to cover them with a temporary covering, a (sukkot) which is made from grass and trees that grow from the earth.
    • Genesis 3:  8And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.  9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
  • We also see Israel making 42 journeys in the wilderness (exile/hiding) in temporary dwellings until they enter the promised land (incorruptible flesh-a redeemed covering). The Feast of Sukkot commemorates this journey in temporary dwellings.

...On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Sukkot, seven days for the L-RD. -Leviticus 23:34 The Festival of Sukkot begins on Tishri 15, the fifth day after Yom Kippur. It is quite a drastic transition, from one of the most solemn holidays in our year to one of the most joyous. Sukkot is so unreservedly joyful that it is commonly referred to in Jewish prayer and literature as Z'man Simchateinu , the Season of our Rejoicing.

Sukkot is the last of the Shalosh R'galim (three pilgrimage festivals). Like Passover and Shavu'ot, Sukkot has a dual significance: historical and agricultural. Historically, Sukkot commemorates the forty-year period during which the children of Israel were wandering in the desert, living in temporary shelters. Agriculturally, Sukkot is a harvest festival and is sometimes referred to as Chag Ha-Asif , the Festival of Ingathering…The Hebrew word "sukkah" (plural: "sukkot") refers to the temporary booths that people lived in, not to the Tabernacle.

A sukkah must have at least two and a half walls covered with a material that will not blow away in the wind. Why two and a half walls? Look at the letters in the word "sukkah" (see the graphic in the heading): one letter has four sides, one has three sides and one has two and a half sides. The "walls" of the sukkah do not have to be solid; canvas covering tied or nailed down is acceptable and quite common in the United States. A sukkah may be any size, so long as it is large enough for you to fulfill the commandment of dwelling in it. The roof of the sukkah must be made of material referred to as sekhakh (literally, covering). To fulfill the commandment, sekhakh must be something that grew from the ground and was cut off, such as tree branches, corn stalks, bamboo reeds, sticks, or two-by-fours. Sekhakh must be left loose, not tied together or tied down. Sekhakh must be placed sparsely enough that rain can get in, and preferably sparsely enough that the stars can be seen, but not so sparsely that more than ten inches is open at any point or that there is more light than shade. The sekhakh must be put on last. Note: You may put a water-proof cover over the top of the sukkah when it is raining to protect the contents of the sukkah, but you cannot use it as a sukkah while it is covered and you must remove the cover to fulfill the mitzvah of dwelling in a sukkah.

Review on the Connection between the Name of Adoani and Seed (Temporary and in exile, hiding) & Flesh (permanent incorruptible receiving the promised land, revealed)):

  • Name of Elohim: Genesis 1, Genesis 17, Exodus 1-Blessing and Multiplicity of the Promised seed in hiding
    • Exodus 1: 18And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?  19And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.  20Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
  • Name of YHWH: Genesis 2, Genesis 15, Genesis 22, Exodus 6-Deliverance of the flesh of the promised seed

So if we know that Genesis 2 shows YHWH forming Adam's flesh we can then see that El is making Adam, the plant and animal seeds in Genesis 1.

Genesis 1:  20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.  21And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.22And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Is the Seed Alive? How Does it Live?

Yes, the seed is multiplying. Yes, the seed is alive. Yes, the seed of Adam has YHWH's image. Yes, the seed of Adam is given dominion over all other seed and their kinds before receiving the formation of flesh. The pattern is always the same, "seed then flesh". This applies to Adam, to Abraham, to Yeshua, and to us.

Genesis 1: 24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.  25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.  26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.  29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.  30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.  31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

So we can see that the seed (DNA) for all things is made in Genesis 1 and the formation of all flesh for that created living seed is formed in Genesis 2.

Genesis 2: 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

In Genesis 1, Adam is not formed of the dust of the ground, nor does he have the breath of life, but he is made in God's image and he is multiplying. We need to remember what a seed is. It's a word, a code, a program, an image, a transfer of life. Nowadays we call it DNA.

Wikipedia:

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and some viruses. The main role of DNA molecules is the long-term storage of information. DNA is often compared to a set of blueprints or a recipe, or a code, since it contains the instructions needed to construct other components of cells, such as proteins and RNA molecules. The DNA segments that carry this genetic information are called genes, but other DNA sequences have structural purposes, or are involved in regulating the use of this genetic information.

Chemically, DNA consists of two long polymers of simple units called nucleotides, with backbones made of sugars and phosphate groups joined by ester bonds. These two strands run in opposite directions to each other and are therefore anti-parallel. Attached to each sugar is one of four types of molecules called bases. It is the sequence of these four bases along the backbone that encodes information. This information is read using the genetic code, which specifies the sequence of the amino acids within proteins. The code is read by copying stretches of DNA into the related nucleic acid RNA, in a process called transcription.

Within cells, DNA is organized into structures called chromosomes. These chromosomes are duplicated before cells divide, in a process called DNA replication. Eukaryotic organisms (animals, plants, fungi, and protists) store their DNA inside the cell nucleus, while in prokaryotes (bacteria and archae) it is found in the cell's cytoplasm. Within the chromosomes, chromatin proteins such as histones compact and organize DNA. These compact structures guide the interactions between DNA and other proteins, helping control which parts of the DNA are transcribed.

We can see that DNA fits Genesis 1 quite well. Remember "Seed then Flesh".

So we must ask ourselves as those who are redeemed by Yeshua, "if we are not born as yet, are we alive"?

Perhaps Yeshua can enlighten us. Let's return to the "breath of life". If we are expecting that a child is not alive until the blood is coursing through the body or the "breath of life" is in him what does that tell us about a baby that does not breathe on its own until being born after 9 months? What about in the womb? Is the child alive in the womb? Or Does this mean the child is not alive? Can YHWH abort us?

Ask Dr. Sears.com

HOW DOES A FETUS BREATHE?

"I am wondering how the baby breathes while in the amniotic fluid? How can the baby breathe in water?"

Many people ponder this, as I get this question from time to time. The answer is: he/she doesn’t. A baby’s first breath usually happens at birth when he begins to cry. While in the womb, his lungs are filled with fluid and are not involved in supplying oxygen to his body. Baby gets his oxygen from the mother, via the umbilical cord. He also gets his nutrients from mother the same way. This is why it is important that a pregnant mother eats healthy food, and breathes healthy air (i.e. don’t smoke).

This provides an interesting insight on when life begins for the child. He/she cannot breathe on his/her own during the whole 9 months in the womb. What about blood supply?

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/prenatal-care/PR00112 Week 5: Baby's heart begins to beat

Your baby at week five (three weeks after conception)

At week five, your baby is 1/17 of an inch long — about the size of the tip of a pen. This week, your baby's heart and circulatory system are taking shape. Your baby's blood vessels will complete a circuit, and his or her heart will begin to beat. Although you won't be able to hear it yet, the motion of your baby's beating heart may be detected with an ultrasound exam. With these changes, blood circulation begins — making the circulatory system the first functioning organ system.

So prior to week 5 the unborn baby doesn't even have its own blood and it's not breathing, but it is growing and multiplying in hiding (the womb). It is fully reliant upon his/her mother for its breath of life (oxygen), blood (life is in the blood-oxygen), and food. The child is growing and is living upon his/her mother's blood and breath. Without the mother, the child cannot grow or multiply or come to maturity and be born. What is the child to do until it can breathe on its own? Let the mother provide the breath and the blood for it.

So what is our status as those who are redeemed by Yeshua?

Are we born? Are we conceived? Are we alive? Are we multiplying? Are we a living soul? Do we have the "breath of the Almighty"? Do we have the blood?

John 3: 2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  9Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  10Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?  11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?  13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Our status as being "born again" as a living soul is completely dependent upon believing upon the name of the only begotten Son of YHWH, the image of YHWH. Being born of water and the Ruach is the only way that we can see the Kingdom of YHWH. How is our belief upon the name of the only begotten Son of YHWH expressed? By living through Yeshua.

John 6: 47Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.  48I am that bread of life.  49Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.50This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.  51I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.  52The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?  53Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  54Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.  55For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.  56He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.  57As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.  58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.  59These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.  60Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?  61When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?  62What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?  63It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  64But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.  65And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.  66From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.  67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?  68Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.  69And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Yeshua is making it possible for us to born again. It is through abiding in Yeshua that we receive the nourishment of life; the breath, the blood, the water, and the bread of life comes only through Yeshua. He has made the womb (mikva/baptism) for us to exist in until our second birth (resurrection). He presently (now) gives us eternal life, yet we will be raised up (born) on the last day. So notice we are clearly in the womb, we are alive, we have eternal life or the life of the second birth even though we are currently within the womb drinking the blood of Yeshua and eating His flesh. Living in Him! We are one with Him, as He is one with the Father. So we know that we are not yet born, yet we are viewed by YHWH as currently having eternal life so long as we abide in Yeshua. We see that Yeshua has provided the flesh, the water, and the blood, but what about the breath?

How do we Live In and Through Yeshua?

We must have the "breath of the Almighty" in order to be considered a living soul. The blood carries the "breath of the Almighty", the life. Yeshua gives us the breath of life, the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh).

John 7: 37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.  39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Notice the fulfillment of this promise after Yeshua's resurrection. We are given the "breath of life", the "breath of the Almighty", the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).

John 20:  19Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.  20And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD. 21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.  22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

After Yeshua's resurrection the apostles still could not breathe on their own. Yeshua had to do it for them. He made them breathe the Ruach by giving them His breath, the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit). This preliminary breath occurred shortly after Yeshua's resurrection and right after ascending to YHWH. Not all of the apostles are there, Thomas is absent. It is not until the Day of Pentecost that the Apostles are given a full portion of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).

Acts 1:  6When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?  7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.  8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

It is after receiving this power and the Ruach Hakodesh that the 12 apostles are fully able to give testimony that they are alive in Yeshua. They are fully breathing as Yeshua breathed by the power of the Ruach Hakodesh, the "breath of the Almighty". It is by Yeshua that the Ruach Hakodesh is given for a full testimony that they are alive in Yeshua.

Acts 2:  1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.  5And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.  6Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.  7And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?  8And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?  9Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,  10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,  11Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.  12And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

The Ruach "breath of the Almighty" has given them utterance and a complete testimony of Yeshua's redemptive work for mankind; the deliverance of flesh. Yeshua came to manifest the name of the Father, YHWH for the redemption of the flesh of all fallen mankind. Their testimony is that they received the Ruach Hakodesh because of Yeshua's blood. The blood does make atonement for the soul (Ruach).

Acts 2: 31He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.  32This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.  33Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

The promise of deliverance is through Yeshua's blood atonement so that we might receive the "breath of the almighty" (Ruach Hakodesh).

How Does the Blood Make Atonement for the Soul?

Leviticus 17:  11For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

We can see how Yeshua made this blood atonement that we might become living souls.

  • Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
  • Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
  • Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
  • Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
  • Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
  • Hebrews 13: 11For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.  12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.  13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
  • 1 Peter 1 1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,  2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.  3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

It is always for the same goal! Yeshua's blood has made it possible that we might breathe the Ruach Hakodesh!

  • John 20:22 (New International Version) And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
  • Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
  • Acts 2:33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
  • Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
  • Acts 8:15 When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
  • Acts 8:17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
  • Acts 8:19 and said, "Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
  • Acts 10:47 Then Peter said, "Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have."
  • Acts 19:2 and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" They answered, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."
  • 1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

Yes, the life is in the blood. Without Yeshua's blood we cannot breathe the Ruach Hakodesh (the life)! So we know we are alive, we are in the womb (Mikva) with Yeshua providing us the blood, the water, the flesh, and the Breath. If we remain in Him we stay alive. If we remain in Him we will be born again. So in essence we are in seed form. We are in hiding. We are multiplying and being blessed in the womb (mikva). Yeshua has given us His DNA (image) so that we might be born again with His flesh to stand in the presence of YHWH. What does Paul say about being born again with new flesh? It starts with the sowing of a seed. It ends with being grafted into Yeshua's flesh.

I Corinthians 15:  35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?  36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:  37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:  38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.  39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.  41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.  42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:  43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:  44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.  45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.  46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.  47The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.  48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.  49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.  50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

So is the seed alive? Yes. Yeshua is the seed (image/DNA) of YHWH.

John 12:  23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.  24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.  25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.  26If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

The seed must be alive in order for it to die. The seed must be alive in order for it to "keep it unto life eternal". Yeshua is the image (DNA) of the Father (YHWH). Yeshua is sowing the seed, His seed, YHWH's image in us. We are made alive by His death. This is why we do not see the Kingdom of Heaven manifest as yet. It is in hiding while it multiplies and grows in the womb. It is yet to be born of flesh. We are literally grafted into Yehsua's incorruptible flesh and blood. Through Him we receive eternal and spiritual life. We are able to breathe the Ruach Hakodesh by Yeshua's blood. We partake of His image, the image of the Father (YHWH). We become one in Him.

I John 3:  1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.  2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.  4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.  5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

So we can see that Yeshua YHWH's work in the Brit Chadasha is just like Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. Seed then Flesh! Multiplication of seed, then Formation of flesh. Hidden then revealed. Sown then Raised. So the Apostles and disciples are instructed to continue Yeshua's work of sowing seed. If we are in His image, we should be doing His work.

Matthew 28:  18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Yeshua Sowing the Seed (Image) of the Kingdom of YHWH:

He came to sow His seed, the image of YHWH. And if you go back and look at the ministry of Yeshua, you will see that He was telling the people this all along. Yeshua is sowing the image, the word, His seed, some on good ground and some on cursed ground. Remember the first Adam's purpose is to till the ground. This is also the purpose of the last Adam. The first Adam brought death, the last Adam brings life. Also keep in mind that before Adam's fall the ground was good and would produce good fruit. After Adam fell the ground was cursed and would "bringing forth thorns and thistles".

Mark 4: 1And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.  2And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,  3Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:  4And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.  5And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:  6But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.  7And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.  8And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.9And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  10And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.  11And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:  12That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.  13And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?  14The sower soweth the word.  15And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.  16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;  17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.  18And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,  19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.  20And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.  21And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?  22For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.  23If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.  24And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.  25For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.  26And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;  27And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.  28For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.  29But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.  30And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?  31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:  32But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.  33And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.  34But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

We can't help but see Yeshua sowing the seed of the Kingdom of YHWH (Image of YHWH) throughout the Brit Chadasha. This is not an ethereal kingdom. Don't spiritualize it away. Yeshua is sowing His seed (DNA, Image). The seed, the DNA, is the Word. Just like DNA it is an encoded program that is "read" which takes root in the soil and changes it and makes it new flesh.

Wikipedia:

Chemically, DNA consists of two long polymers of simple units called nucleotides, with backbones made of sugars and phosphate groups joined by ester bonds. These two strands run in opposite directions to each other and are therefore anti-parallel. Attached to each sugar is one of four types of molecules called bases. It is the sequence of these four bases along the backbone that encodes information. This information is read using the genetic code, which specifies the sequence of the amino acids within proteins. The code is read by copying stretches of DNA into the related nucleic acid RNA, in a process called transcription.

We see Yeshua sowing His word, His seed, His image, the Seed of the Kingdom of YHWH for the deliverance of incorruptible flesh. The word is "read" by the hearing of the "word" (code) and It grows in some and not in others. YHWH's word must be written upon the tablets of our hearts in order for us to obtain eternal life.

Exodus 34:  1And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.  2And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.

This is the sowing of the Word of YHWH, the Image of YHWH upon our circumcised hearts. This is the transcription of YHWH's image (DNA) upon our lives.

  • Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

The seed is sown in the hearts of people. Those who receive the seed, cultivate it and allow it to grow by remaining in Yeshua are covered by His blood and are able to breathe the Ruach Hakodesh. These are alive. These are unborn. These are in the Mikva (womb) and live thorough Yeshua. So what does this tell us about the unborn? Between Yeshua's testimony and the proof found in Genesis 1 of the Torah, we can clearly see that these seeds are alive, they multiply, they have movement, they have dominion, and they are created Kind after Kind in the image of their Kind. The first phase is the planting of the seed (Genesis 1 and Yeshua's first coming). The second phase is the formation of flesh and birth as a living soul (Genesis 2 and Yeshua's second coming/the resurrection).

Life begins with the writing of a code on a seed.

Romans 8:  22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.  24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.  26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.  31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

So using the Torah and Yeshua's testimony as our guide we should be able to clearly know when life begins.

  • The image, code, Word, (DNA) multiplies
  • EL's involvement in the creation of life begins with the seed (DNA)
  • YHWH always works the same way, "seed then flesh"
  • The seed grows in hiding (womb/mikva)
  • The seed's life is dependent upon the blood and the breath
  • The blood and the breath is provided to the seed by the work of Yeshua
  • The seed remains alive so long as it abides in Yeshua
  • The blood carries the life (breath of the Almighty)
  • Yeshua's blood atonement makes us able to breathe the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit)
  • Yeshua says we (seed in the womb) currently have eternal life but we are awaiting our birth (incorruptible flesh)
  • The name El brings seed multiplicity and the name YHWH brings deliverance of flesh
  • The name Elohim begins the Torah," the book of the generations of heaven and earth" and "the book of the generations of Adam" with the creation of "seed", Adonai only concerns Himself with life. He is life. The Creative work by the name EL and then the name YHWH causes life from "the beginning". In the beginning of life was the Word (seed).
  • Genesis clarifies that the Torah is the "Book of the Generations of Adam", so we are being shown Adam's beginning which is inseparable from the "Generations of the Heavens and the Earth".
    • Genesis 5:  1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;  2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.  3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:
    • The Torah is about the making of the Image of YHWH and how Adam, originally made in YHWH's image (DNA/seed) fell and no longer made seed in YHHW's image. The book starts with seed and ends with the deliverance of flesh to the promised land. "The generations of Adam" begins with the making of a seed in YHWH's image. I would contend that life begins with the making of the seed. As we have learned the seed may die if it is not cared for properly or does not abide where the blood can give it the "breath of the almighty". The seed is alive. Genesis 1 is showing a seed that is alive and multiplying, but has not yet received the formation of flesh which happens at the appearance of YHWH and the watering of the ground on the seventh day.

Take notice that we need the blood, the water, and the breath (Ruach/Spirit). These three bear witness in the earth (ground).

I John 5:   2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.  4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?  6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.  7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.  9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.  10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So Yeshua and the Torah give testimony that life begins at the making of the seed not at birth, not when the blood starts flowing, not when the breath starts. The breath, the blood are necessary for continued life. Birth is also necessary when the baby is ready to be born. The baby cannot remain in the womb forever. Life begins when YHWH makes the seed. The planting of the seed is the hearing of the Word (the seed of the Kingdom of Heaven). It is alive but it can die. Life begins with the writing of the seed.

  • Hebrews 4:  2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

  • Revelation 17:  7And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.  8The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The inscription in the book of life happened at the foundation of the world, Genesis 1.

Exodus 32:  31And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.  32Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.  33And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Yeshua, the Word, the Seed, the Image, the Code, the Light of Life:

Life begins with YHWH writing in the book and ends if or when the name is blotted out from the book. The seed is created with the writing, it is planted, it grows/dies, it is born again if the name remains in the book. Seed then flesh. Any other definition of life that does not encompass the start of creation with the seed and the fulfillment of the creation with delivered flesh has not taken into consideration the whole testimony of Yeshua or the Torah. I would contend that life begins with the coding of the seed. All seeds are planted. It is to be protected. Remember the Torah and Genesis is about "This is the book of the generations of Adam". All other things covered by it are in relation to the generations of Adam. These other topics are addressed as they pertain to the generations of Adam. So in Genesis 1:1 did God want to explain "the Beginning" of the universe, "the Beginning" of the Earth, or "the Beginning" of the Generations of Adam? Or is there an intimate connection between the "generations of heaven and earth" and the "generations of Adam"?

Genesis 1:  1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Keep in mind that Adam is made of water and earth which becomes a living soul by the "breath of the Almighty". Adam in his unfallen state is apart of the physical world. His generations are connected to the "generations of the heaven and earth" and always will be. His original unfallen state is of the physical world and in his redeemed state remains that way. Just as Adam and his generations receive new flesh so also the heavens and earth are made new (Revelation 21:1).

Genesis 2:  4These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,  5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.  6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.  7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Adam's unfallen state is of the "generations of the heavens and earth" and he is intimately connected with it via the seed which was created in Genesis 1. Flesh did not appear until Genesis 2.

So in Genesis 1:1 we see a part of Adam's beginning. Adam cannot exist in chapter 2 of Genesis without the events of Genesis 1:1.

Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Adam's "beginning" starts with unformed earth and the creative action of the Ruach (Spirit of YHWH) hovering over the face of the waters. We see this same event in the Brit Chadasha. We need to look for unformed earth and the hovering Ruach Hakodesh planting seed.

Luke 1:  26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,  27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.  28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.  29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.  30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.  31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.  32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:  33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.  34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

This matches the events of Genesis 1. This is the planting of the seed. This is where the physical begins to grow in the physical world. Just like Adam Yeshua is intimately tied to the Heavens and Earth.

I Corinthians 15:  44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.  45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.  46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

We see Yeshua after His resurrection is still of heaven and earth.

John 20:  24But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.  25The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.  26And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

We also have Yeshua's promise to eat and drink (have physical relationship) in the Kingdom of YHWH.

Luke 22:  15And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:  16For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.  17And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

So knowing that Yeshua will have an intimate relationship with the physical world we need to ask ourselves, "Did Yeshua's life begin with His conceived seed being planted within Mary's fallen flesh? We already know that Yeshua is in the image of YHWH. We know that Adam was made in the image of YHWH. The first Adam who fell is earthly (cursed ground) and the second Adam who causes our fallen flesh to ascend is heavenly (blessed ground). But they are both in the image of YHWH and they both are intimately tied to the physical world. Adam's seed was created "in the beginning" of Genesis 1. What about Yeshua? Was Yeshua alive before being planted in Mary's womb? Let's look back at the beginning and see if Yeshua is alive.

John 1: 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2The same was in the beginning with God.  3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.  6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.  7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.  8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.  9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.  10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  15John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.  16And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

We have confirmation of several facts:

  • Yeshua (the Word) was with YHWH in "the beginning"
  • Yeshua (the Word) was YHWH
  • All things were "made" by Yeshua (the Word)
  • Yeshua (the Word) had life in "the Beginning"
  • Yeshua (the Word) is the light of the world (Genesis 1)
  • Yeshua (the Word) gives us power to become the "sons of YHWH, having His image
  • Yeshua (the Word) gives us the power to be "born" (born again) of YHWH, having His image
  • Yeshua (the Word) was made flesh and dwelt among fallen man
  • Yeshua (the Word) was before and is the fullness of the Godhead bodily
    • Colossians 2:  8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:  12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
    • We live through Yeshua. He makes it possible for us to breathe in the womb as we await our birth. It is through His blood that we receive the "breath of the Almighty".
      • Job 33: 3My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.  4The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.  5If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

Sowing the Seed (Image) of the Kingdom of YHWH:

"In the Beginning" Yeshua is not here in the flesh, but is He alive? Yes. He is moving, making, multiplying, and creating. We should clearly be able to apply this to the life of the unborn child to determine if he/she is alive and if it is murder to kill that which is alive in the womb. The answer is self-evident. Our commission from the beginning is to "be fruitful and multiply". The blessings of obeying the Torah results in having fruitful seed.

  • Genesis 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
  • Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
  • Genesis 8:17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
  • Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
  • Genesis 9:7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
  • Genesis 17:6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
  • Genesis 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
  • Genesis 26:22 And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.
  • Genesis 28:3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
  • Genesis 35:11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
  • Genesis 41:52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
  • Genesis 48:4 And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.
  • Genesis 49:22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
  • Exodus 1:7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
  • Leviticus 26:9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
  • Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
  • Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

The blessings of YHWH result in the living and multiplying of seed. The curse for disobedience to YHWH's torah is the "cutting off of seed" which is death.

  • Leviticus 20:3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
  • Leviticus 22:3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
  • 1 Samuel 24:21 Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house.
  • Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
  • Isaiah 48:19 Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.

Notice that the "cutting off of seed" is the same as:

  • having your name cut off
  • destroying my name out of my father's house
  • having your soul cut off
  • being cut off from among his people
  • death

This is contrasted with, "therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

This also shows us the significance of the Tree of Life being a tree that produces living seed. Adam is instructed to only eat of those herbs and trees that produce living seed.

Genesis 1:  27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The Tree of Life was good for food, it produced seed. The tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was not good for food, it did not produce living seed. In fact, when mixed with the seed of Adam and Eve, it brought death and corrupted their seed so it would always die. Life is carried on by the seed. Yeshua gives us His seed so we would be redeemed and re-enter YHWH's living presence. It is imperative that we are circumcised so that we might receive Yeshua's seed of the Kingdom of YHWH, Yeshua, that we may continue to live.

Deuteronomy 30:  5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.  6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.7And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

This requires the implantation and growth of Yeshua's seed so that we might live. We must be grafted into Yeshua, the Tree of Life, the Seed of Life, the Image of Life, The Image of YHWH. This is how we return to YHWH's presence. Not through our own righteousness, but through Yeshua's redemptive work.

Mark 4: 14The sower soweth the word.

The Seed is the life. The Seed is the light. The Seed is "the Beginning". The Seed is Yeshua. Yeshua is the Image of YHWH. Yeshua is YHWH. We live in, by, and through Yeshua. We cannot live by our own effort. The seed is alive. Death occurs when you give up "the breath of the Almighty". Perhaps this explains the significance of the unpardonable sin.

Mark 3:  28Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:  29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.  30Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Quenching the "breath of the Almighty" will cause death.

I Thessalonians 5:  18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  19Quench not the Spirit.  20Despise not prophesyings.

Luke 12: 8Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:  9But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.  10And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

Our life is connected with having the "breath of the Almighty", the Ruach Hakodesh. Without it we cannot give testimony and utterance of the voice of YHWH. Speaking contrary to the inspiration of the testimony of the Ruach Hakodesh is blasphemy.

Luke 12:  11And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:  12For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

This is how we know we are alive and reside in Yeshua. His blood brings us the "breath of life". So we live and reside by and through Yeshua. There is no way around it. He is the only way to life.

  • Romans 6:  7For he that is dead is freed from sin.  8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
  • Romans 14:  7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.  8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
  • 2 Corinthians 5: 14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:  15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
  • 2 Timothy 2:  10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.  11It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:  12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
  • I John 4:  8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
  • Revelation 12:  10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Our victory is by and through Yeshua, His blood, and the subsequent giving of the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) that gives us the "breath of the Almighty", the Word of Testimony. This is life!

John 20:  30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:  31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Praise the name of Yeshua YHWH.

2 Timothy 1: 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;  9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,  10But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:  11Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.  12For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.  13Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.  14That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

Breathe deep of the "breath of the Almighty" by the grace of Yeshua YHWH and His blood! The life is in the seed. The unborn child is alive and needs to remain in Yeshua to stay alive. The book of Revelation tells about our birth. This long awaited event is called the "Birth of the Man-Child".

Revelation 12:  1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.  3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.  4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) will have finally birthed those who are currently hidden in the womb and are being kept alive via the blood of Yeshua.

The Book of Revelation is about the birth of the man-child and the opening of the Door of Heaven; Forty Two

Revelation 4: 1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.  2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

You should be very interested in this door. Revelation focuses upon it. It is central to our future. Most do not know why. The size and dimensions of the door will give you the answer.

Ezekiel’s temple remains a controversial issue for Rabbis as it presents some alternative views to what the Torah mandates regarding the temple, the holy days, the sacrifices, etc.  In fact, the whole book is rather an issue, since they have a hard time explaining the contradictions between the laws of the temple, the priestly garments, the absence of certain items within, and the change in the Holy Days when compared to the Torah.  These differences from the Torah give us key insights into prophetic events that will have already occurred by that time and gives great hope for the status of our redemption and that of our flesh.

Ezekiel 41: 1Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.  2And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.  3Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.

The door to the Holy Place, Yeshua's flesh, is 6x7=42.

The book of Revelation begins with the opening of this door and allowing the redeemed to enter the Holy Place.  His flesh is not profane, it is Holy. His flesh and His Ruach are in the Mikva (Baptism).  This is the Bread of YHWH, Yeshua's flesh. What does 42 have to do with Seed then Flesh? Everything. If we are in the womb and our life is through Yeshua and His blood allows us to breathe the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh), we must pass through that door with the dimensions of 42 in order to be born again.

http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/home/women/pregnancy/labor/143.html

When is a pregnancy considered overdue?A pregnancy is usually completed in 38 to 42 weeks. "Post-term pregnancy," "prolonged pregnancy" and "post-date pregnancy" are all words used to describe a pregnancy that lasts beyond 42 weeks. About 5% of pregnancies are post-term.

http://www.aafp.org/afp/20050515/1935.html

Approximately 5 to 10 percent of all pregnancies continue to at least 42 weeks' gestation.1,2 Advances in obstetric and neonatal care have lowered the absolute mortality risk; however, retrospective studies1,3 of these so-called post-term pregnancies have found an increased risk to the mother and fetus. The perinatal mortality rate (i.e., stillbirths plus neonatal deaths) of two to three deaths per 1,000 deliveries at 40 weeks' gestation approximately doubles by 42 weeks and is four to six times greater at 44 weeks.4,5

Risks of Prolonged Gestation

Post-term pregnancies are associated with numerous adverse outcomes (Table 1).1 In a recent Danish birth-registry study,1 increased rates of multiple maternal and perinatal complications were found in singleton pregnancies of at least 42 weeks' gestation. The risks were not limited to deliveries of large infants; the underlying causes of the prolonged pregnancies also may have been responsible. The occurrence of complications was particularly high in low-birth-weight infants and likely resulted from the cause of fetal growth restriction. A Norwegian birth cohort study3 found that maternal complications usually are associated with larger fetal size, and fetal complications are associated with smaller size. When these factors are considered, the impact of post-term pregnancies is minor by comparison.

Remember the woman from Revelation 12 is having a difficult birth.

We also see the circumstances that occur over the period of time lasting 42 months causing her tribulation.

Revelation 11: 1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.  2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.  3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

The man-child is born through the Door in Heaven having the dimensions of 6x7 equaling 42. In Hebrew the number 6 is Vav. ו Vav - 6, the picture of a man standing upright, a pillar, or a vertical line. The number 7 is Zayin, ז - 7 .

ו Vav - 6, http://www.inner.org/hebleter/vav.htm

In the beginning of Creation, when Infinite Light filled all reality, G d contracted His Light to create hollow empty space, as it were, the "place" necessary for the existence of finite worlds. Into this vacuum God drew down, figuratively speaking, a single line of light, from the Infinite Source. This ray of light is the secret of the letter vav. Though the line is singular in appearance, it nonetheless possesses two dimensions, an external as well as an internal force, both of which take part in the process of Creation and the continuous interaction between the creative power and created reality.

Zayin, ז - 7, http://www.inner.org/hebleter/zayin.htm

The Maggid of Mezeritch, the successor of the Ba’al Shem Tov, teaches that the verse "A woman of valor is the crown of her husband" alludes to the form of the letter zayin. The previous letter, vav, portrays the or yashar ("straight light") descending from God into the worlds. The zayin, whose form is similar to a vav, though with a crown on top, reflects the or yashar of the vav as or chozer ("returning light"). Or chozer ascends with such great force that it reaches a higher state of consciousness than that of the revealed origin-point of the or yashar. When reaching the initially superconscious realm of keter (the "crown"), it broadens its awareness to both the right and the left. In truth "there is no left in that Ancient One [the level of keter], for all is right." This means that the awe of God (left) at this initially superconscious level is indistinguishable, in its nature to cling directly to God, from the highest manifestation of the love of God (right).

Can you see the interplay of the male and the female? The seed and the flesh? The conception and the birth? 6x7=birth (42)?

Those who live in Yeshua are given incorruptible flesh and ascend (opposite of fallen). We are then born again. This matches up with the pattern within the Torah of Israel's journeys through the wilderness for 40 years. They received the seed, the image of YHWH, the Torah, after being saved out of Egypt. They were saved by grace and delivered from Egypt, mikva'd (baptized) in the Red Sea, and given the seed of the Kingdom, the Image of YHWH, the Torah at Mount Sinai at their first Pentecost after having departed Egypt. They then journeyed through the wilderness making 42 journeys until they were ready to be born into the Promised Land by the Hand of YHWH.

Count the numbers of journeys of Israel in the Wilderness:

Numbers 33:  2And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

  • 3And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.  4For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
  • 2 5And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
  • 3 6And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
  • 4 7And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
  • 5 8And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days'journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
  • 6 9And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
  • 7 10And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
  • 8 11And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
  • 9 12And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
  • 10 13And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
  • 11 14And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
  • 12 15And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
  • 13 16And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
  • 14 17And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
  • 15 18And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
  • 16 19And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.
  • 17 20And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.
  • 18 21And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
  • 19 22And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
  • 20 23And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
  • 21 24And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
  • 22 25And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
  • 23 26And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
  • 24 27And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
  • 25 28And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
  • 26 29And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
  • 27 30And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
  • 28 31And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.
  • 29 32And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.
  • 30 33And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
  • 31 34And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
  • 32 35And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.
  • 33 36And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
  • 34 37And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.  38And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.  39And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.  40And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

  • 37 43And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
  • 38 44And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.
  • 39 45And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.
  • 40 46And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.
  • 41 47And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
  • 42 48And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.  49And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.  50And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,  51Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;  52Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:  53And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

At the conclusion of their 42 journeys, they enter the land and dispossess the current inhabitants destroying their false images! Remember the name YHWH is used for the deliverance of flesh after the seed has grown and is ready to be born. The seed is alive awaiting its birth. The dragon of Revelation 12 has no desire to be dispossessed and smashed and is therefore waiting to kill the man-child at its birth! This should give us insight into why the first generation that came out of Egypt died before entering the land. This is a type of the deliverance provided by Yeshua. He died so that His seed could inherit the land and receive the Image of YHWH and incorruptible flesh. This is a replay of the birth of Tamar's children.

Seed Then Flesh; Torah Proofs:

Let's take a quick look at the twins inside of Tamar's womb (mikva).

Genesis 38:  24And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.  25When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.  26And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.  27And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.  28And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.  29And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.  30And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

It is as if Yeshua, the arm of YHWH, came first and offered for His brother to be born first.  Yeshua (the Arm of YHWH) returns to the womb (Mikva) and we receive the right and opportunity to be the first born.  The scarlet thread on the arm goes back into the Mikva (womb) and is dipped into the waters and we (Pharez) are treated like the one who came out first, Yeshua. We receive the image of the firstborn.  We receive His image and are given the birthright and inheritance.  We inherit with Him. He died so that His seed might inherit the land of promise receiving incorruptible flesh. Yeshua came to sow His seed so that we might inherit the Kingdom of YHWH, the land of promise (soil with the image of YHWH)- incorruptible flesh.

Seed (Womb-Hidden) Then Flesh (Birth-Revealed)
Israel........................ ...............................................Yeshua.................................Adam & Eve's Redeemed Seed
Israel delivered from Bondage of Egypt by the saving of the firstborn Yeshua is called out of Egypt Fallen man is called out of death and fallen flesh
Israel mikva'd in the Red Sea on the 8th day Yeshua enters the mikva of the Jordan with John (prophetic of the Ruach Hakodesh We enter the womb (Mikva) with Yeshua and the Ruach Hakodesh
Israel receives the Seed/Image of YHWH, the Torah on Pentecost Yeshua is the Image of YHWH sowing His seed of the Kingdom of YHWH We receive the Image of YHWH
Israel makes 42 journeys in the wilderness (hidden from the world) Those who receive Yeshua enter the Mikva (womb) to multiply (hidden in the womb with Yeshua) and are born again through the door of heaven with the dimensions of 42, Yeshua's flesh We, the multiplying seed, live through Yeshua's blood which gives us the ability to breathe the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) while we are hidden in the womb (mikva) and are born again at the end of the 42
All of the first generation of Israel delivered from Egypt die in the Wilderness, except 2 witness of that generation. They become a picture of the Word of YHWH taking death upon Himself so their/His seed might live. Yeshua dies so that we might inherit with Him and provides two witness that teach the Testimony of Yeshua and the Keeping of His Torah for 42 months before the birth of the man-child We inherit through Yeshua who has made atonement through His blood for our Ruach (spirit-breath of the almighty) and our seed and fallen flesh are caused to ascend to it's intended state; life with incorruptible flesh.
The seed of the first generation inherit the land that the first generation (who died) was promised to receive The born again are resurrected and inherit through Yeshua (who died) We will appear like Yeshua when we are born with His flesh
The seed cross over the water of the Jordan and are "born again" and receive the promised land through driving out the inhabitants The born again enter through the Door of Heaven, Yeshua's flesh and blood We are resurrected (born again) when we receive Yeshua's flesh meanwhile the dragon is waiting to devour us as soon as we are born again and revealed

You need to learn about your birth. Read about it, The Offering of the Bread of YHWH, the End-Time Work of Elijah .

Now we can finally understand why there are two events with Moses before the rock when the people are dying of thirst. The first event of Moses bringing water from the rock happens with the first generation of Israel that came out of Egypt. The second event of Moses bringing water from the rock happens with the seed of the first generation that came out of Egypt. The second event happens , right before they are about to enter the promised land. Remember entering the promised land is a type of receiving the incorruptible flesh of the Messiah Yeshua, the gift of eternal life and the completion of the receiving of the image of YHWH.

Remember the prophetic significance of the following:

Prophetic Meanings of the 2 Generations of Israel in the Exodus
First Generation of Israel called out of Egypt dies in the wilderness The Seed of the first Generation of Israel called out of Egypt is delivered from the wilderness
Prophetic of Yeshua Prophetic of the Seed of Yeshua
Yeshua is killed Because Yeshua is killed we may live through Him
Yeshua is the seed of the Kingdom of YHWH, the Image of YHWH The Seed of the Image of YHWH is written upon our circumcised Hearts
First tablets of the Torah are Broken Second set of Tablets are made by Moses and transcribed with the same words that were on the first set of tablets
First Adam (dies) Second Adam (Yeshua lives and we live through Him)
Seed/Hidden Flesh/Revealed

Remember what we learned above about the transcription of DNA/RNA and transcribing the code (Word) of the seed. Now we can understand the two events of Moses and the Rock.

Transcribing the Seed (Image) of YHWH:

Exodus 17: 1And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.  2Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?  3And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?  4And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.  5And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.  6Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.  7And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

The people that came out of Egypt are about to die of thirst and Moses keeps pointing them to YHWH for deliverance. To save the lives of the Children of Israel, the Angel of YHWH (Yeshua) stands before the Rock and tells Moses to strike the rock so that water will come out of it that the people may drink. This vicarious striking of the Angel of YHWH before the rock is clearly a picture of the killing of the Messiah, the seed, the image of YHWH so that waters would be brought forth to water the people. Remember the picture of Genesis 2 of water being brought forth so that the seeds planted in the earth and Adam could grow flesh. The seed must die and be planted in the earth so that it may bring forth much life. This is why the first generation had to die in the wilderness- they were prophetic of the work of the seed, the image of YHWH, Yeshua that had to die, be planted in the ground so that His/their seed might inherit the land (prophetic of incorruptible flesh/life).

Now what about the second striking of the Rock? This event happened to the seed of the generation that came out of Egypt right before they entered the promised land. YHWH was very displeased with how this played out and punishes Moses and Aaron for not following His instructions. Keep in mind in both events Moses is supposed to use the Staff of YHWH, but in the first occurrence He is told to strike the rock with the Staff of YHWH. In the second occurrence He is told to speak to the rock while holding the Staff of YHWH in his hand.

Numbers 20: 1Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.  2And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.  3And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!  4And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?  5And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.  6And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.  7And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  8Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.  9And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.  10And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?  11And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.  12And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.  13This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.

Notice these key points between the first event of striking the rock and the second event of bringing forth water for the people:

First Event of Moses Bringing Water from the Rock - Exodus 17 Second Event of Moses Bringing Water from the Rock- Numbers 20
Happened to the First Generation Happened to the Seed of the First Generation
Angel of YHWH stands before the rock. The rock is a picture of Yeshua, the Image of YHWH Angel of YHWH does not stand before the rock. The rock is a picture of us, the second set of tablets that are to receive the transcribing of the image of YHWH
Moses is commanded to strike the rock with the Staff of YHWH Moses is commanded to speak to the rock with the Staff of YHWH
Moses has the staff of YHWH in his hand Moses has the staff of YHWH in his hand
Picture of the Messiah Yeshua being killed to bring forth water so they might live YHWH is angry that Moses hasn't obeyed the picture He wanted painted for the people to see. Moses doesn't speak to the rock as YHWH instructed
The key question of the people is, "is YHWH among us or not" The key issue of the people is that they have been brought to a place that is "no place of seed"
This is a picture of the first tablets of the Torah which are broken This is a picture of the words of the first tablets (Image of YHWH, Yeshua) being written upon the second set of tablets (our hearts)
YHWH's image (Angel of YHWH) is struck as He stands before the rock and He is broken YHWH's image is restored in Adam and Eve's redeemed seed
Principal action is the striking of the Image Principal action is supposed to be the speaking of the Word (code-DNA-Image of YHWH) being transcribed to the rock so that the people would live
Yeshua is killed so that we might receive living waters We receive Yeshua's image so that we might produce living waters
"Is YHWH among us or not?" "Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel...Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them"

Remember the manifestation of YHWH is in "the voice".

Exodus 20: 18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."  20 Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."  21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

With the completion of the tabernacle, the consummating event was the appearance of the voice of YHWH.

Numbers 7: 89And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

When we have the image of YHWH, our eyes and ears are opened to see the Glory of YHWH, Yeshua, that YHWH may be glorified "in the people" and "in the eyes of the children of Israel". YHWH's image is transcribed upon us and His countenance is glorified in our eyes, not just by what we see and hear, but that others see YHWH's countenance when they look upon our eyes.

  • Deuteronomy 5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
  • Deuteronomy 29:4 Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
  • Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
  • Ezekiel 3:10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
  • Matthew 11: 14And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.  15He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  16But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
  • Matthew 13: 15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.  16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
  • 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
  • Luke 8: 7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.  8And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  9And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
  • Acts 7: 50Hath not my hand made all these things?  51Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.  52Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
  • Romans 11: 7What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.  8(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Now we can fully understand the need for the two events of Moses and the rock. Now we can see the full implications of the Aaronic blessing.

The Aaronic Blessing; Transcribing the Countenance (Image) of YHWH:

Numbers 6: 22And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  23Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,24The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:  25The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:  26The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.  27And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

May the Lord bless you and guard you – יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ
May the Lord shine His countenance toward you and be gracious to you – יָאֵר יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ
May the Lord lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace – יִשָּׂא יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם

The Chumash translates Numbers 6: 22-27 this way.. "Hashem spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying: So shall you bless the Children of Israel, saying to them: "May Hashem bless you and safeguard you. May Hashem illuminate His countenance for you and be gracious to you. May Hashem lift His countenance to you and establish peace for you. Let them place My Name upon the Children of Israel and I shall bless them."

YHWH is transcribing His image, His countenance, His face, and His name upon us. He is not just shinning upon us, He is shining from us because we have received His image, Yeshua the Messiah, and we live through him. Yeshua is the manifestation of the Glory of YHWH before the people. YHWH's great desire was to be manifest before the people.

Numbers 20:  12And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.  13This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.

The people need to see and hear the Glory of YHWH in order to have the waters of life.

John 12:  27Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.  28Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.  29The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

It is through seeing the Glory of YHWH, Yeshua, that we receive His image. Just as waters flowed from Yeshua to bring life to the people, so also the transcribing of His image produces the same effect in us.

The living water is the "Breath of the Almighty", the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) and with it comes life.

John 4: 7There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.  8(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)  9Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.  10Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.  11The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?  12Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?  13Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:  14But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.  15The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

We see the fulfillment of these promises in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 7:  13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.  16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.  17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The blood of the Lamb makes atonement for the soul (Ruach, Breath of the Almighty) and gives us water that we might live. We now know why the first generation from Egypt had to die and why Moses approached the Rock in need of water twice!

Praise the name of Yeshua YHWH! So then what ought we to be doing?

  • Romans 8:  28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
  • 2 Peter 3:  14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.  15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;  16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.  17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.  18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

May the countenance of Yeshua YHWH be upon your lives and His name written in your flesh.

Revelation 3:  11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.  12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.  13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
